Driving Theory Test

Recommended Posts

Laurence Taylor    3

Got my theory test tomorrow, anyone got any tips to pass or anything to look out for in particular?

I've done plenty of mock tests and I've already sat my theory before and failed by 2 marks :(

Don't want to fuck up again!

Learn enough information so you can answer the questions correctly.

Just use all the time if you can. This means that you can look for any errors.

Hmm, I'm guessing it's the sort of the same as in Denmark.

Best thing you can do is just stay calm and focused, what I did to not focus so much on the test itself was just striking up a conversation with my driving instructor, we had a good talk about some topic we both were interested in and I think we both kinda forgot what we were doing and it all went well :D

It's a good idea to ask your instructor where we are going next, chances are he'll forget about telling you to go right or left next time and that can cost you.

Oh god I'm a moron and totally did not read the title k thx no h8

It depends on which learn-type you are.

Compared to other stuff the driving theory is probably one of the easier things to face.

People will tell you to not learn too much, but I've had the best results with literally learning until the test started :D.

This can also help you to handle the tension.

In the end your strategy should be orientated on your feelings.

If you feel safe about the content, give yourself some breaks, if not, try to learn as much as you can!

No matter the result, it won't be the end of the world for you.

Try to tell yourself that you have done everything possible and see it as a challenge!

Good luck!

Grats!

Time should be on your side in the practical.

All you need to do is stay focused and don't rush into a situation, then you will be surprised how fast the test is over.

Maybe try to imagine what could happen on the drive and most important don't forget to breathe :D (I'm serious though, controlled breathing can change your whole thinking!).
