Including music in posts

Question

Grihm    16

So lots of posts have this little playbutton and you can include music in the post you made. Do this not work with youtube links, and what´s the most easy way to do it?

I use something called Puush. Dropbox works but you need to have had premium which you have to pay for to get the public drop box. Download Puush, download the music file you want and use Puush to upload the music file. Then you use the ([mp3]) tags to place Puush link in there.

To get an audio button Puush an audio file then do this [mp3 ] Link Here [/mp3]

Of course minus the spaces.

If you need a link to puush here it is http://puush.me/

Will mark this as solved will leave it open if you need any more help with puush.

When adding youtube videos i use this> [video=youtube] video here

for example ['video=youtube]

[/video'] ( i added ' so you can see)

without ' > [video=youtube]

The way someone uses an embedded mp3 in their threads is through certain file hosting sites of applications such as Puush or Dropbox. Here's a simple guide for Puush so this should help you out.

Awesome. I can get the YT to work, but i want to try the puush as well. Looks better in storyposts than a big video =)

Eyo, just a helpful tip. If you ever listen to a certain song on youtube and you just say "Oh sweet lord I need this on my [insert thread here] thread", you can use this website to download a certain track, speech, stuff like that. I use this often in my own RP threads and it helps a ton.
