What have you learned from DayzRP?

Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon.... No matter how good you are, the bird is going to knock over all the pieces, crap on the board, and strut around like it's victorious.

Its more fun getting others to fight against each other than fighting yourself and sometimes it's a good thing people don't remember you.

I learned how to RP.. I think. For real though, first RP experience here, as well as first real online community so learned all about being apart of a forum, how to use internets stuffs, and things like that. As well as how to say Danske Pølse

Before I joined DayZRP, I never thought I'd actually play a game that involves roleplaying and here I am today and I really enjoy it, so that's one thing. Another, before I joined staff at the start of the year, I worked hard and didn't give up until I got the position in staff and there is so many more things I've learnt within my time in staff itself, I wouldn't even be able to list them all. :)

Well, I got to RP in a way I never thought I would do. It also gave me lots of ideas on many scenarios, stories and characters(which could mean a book...?) and that trust is hard to gain.

Young people of other cultures are not used to honesty and non-normal free opinion.

That you have to look up to people who are of mutch higher age then you for their wisdom of life experience!

Yeah Rampage/Sin/DrDAX you are OLD! OOOOLLLLLLLLLLDDDD! :P

I learned how to role play and it has developed into somewhat of a passion of mine. Without DayZRP or this community I really doubt I would have ever given serious role play a consideration. This community has also helped with my writing skills as well as creative thinking. DayZRP has given me an avenue to express myself through this art we call Role Play. Thank you to everyone.

DayzRP taught me there are no real bandits or heroes only survivors. Like some of the other people in this thread I never really thought I would be into something like this. Like most games though I gave it a chance and it blew me away how different DayZ felt with just a few simple rules in place.

Respect your enemies... or they will more than likely execute you.

Some confidence stuff. And that I'm better at managing people than I thought.... or rather, that I can actually manage. Who knew.

Also, that I can write.

I think especially my time in staff has changed me a lot.

Never take yourself to seriously

One of the best qualities a person can have.

10/10

Don't trust people that are unarmed. They are usually scouts for larger groups that care more about gear than RP :(

Being a hero in a bandit clan gets you robbed......a lot

We're not bandits, what you on about? :D

What have I learned... hmm, not quite sure. Guess I have opened my eyes for RP, I always had "negative" thoughts about it before joining here :)

Also I've learned never to comply, *cough* Rick *cough*
