DMZ Arms Inc.

DAI was formed by Daymar Mula Zekta during his contract with the Vendetta Guerilla Cartel on the Chernarus mainland. The goal of the company was to establish a reliable supply of weapons, supplies and anything else needed by the cartel at the time, as such a source was lacking at the time. Since its inception, DAI has been operating in the shadows and quietly supplying weapons, equipment and any other supplies to the people willing to pay.

This has led to DAI forming bonds with the now defunct Cartel, as well as some private clients, and more recently, the Free Medics, to which DAI has made some deliveries of medical supplies. Now, with the ever growing business, DAI is aiming to expand on manpower and on area.

'We need a company capable of quiet, efficient operation, but equally capable to maintain said operation without having to endanger its workers'

Name

DMZ Arms may be seen as a ego trip from Daymar, but it's actually chosen to reflect the mentality of the group. Since one of the meanings of DMZ translates out to 'De-Militarized Zone', this accurately reflects the neutral, uninvolved approach that DAI aims to keep with all of its clients.

Goal

The primary goal of the company is, of course, profit, but unlike some PMCs and merchant companies, protecting its own members has an equally high, if not a higher, priority.

Activities

DAI operates as an independent unit, focused on making money while keeping each and every one of its employees safe. This means that DAI doesn't engage in any hostile actions unless forced to protect its own. If any contracts have the potential to cause harm, they will not be signed, regardless of profits. At times of low business, DAI can slow or even cease merchant operations, assuming the form of a PMC.

DAI can operate as any of the following entities, depending on the situation:

- A private security force

- A private intelligence service

- A merchant house, similar to a black market operation.

The former two services are not available to the general public, but clients may get the option to employ them if they prove trustworthy enough.

DAI will never:

- Engage in violence without provocation

- Assault or assist in an assault on a known medical center and/or group

- Put profits above the lives of its employees

- Accept assassination contracts from anyone

Recorded Operations

DAI in Operation Goliath

DAI, like many other groups from Chernarus, was recently contracted to venture out to the island of Napf in an assault to eliminate council threat from Chernarus and the surrounding area. We sent the bulk of our international mercenary crew, fighters, pilots, engineers and even the very few infantry that we had in the area.

I'd like to think that the operation was as successful as it was in some small part due to our help. It's the only way I can validate the heavy losses we took while participating in that fight. We're not the only ones that left many good people there. We're not the only ones who mourn our dead. We're not even the ones with the heaviest losses. But as the 'leader' of this rag tag family of hired crew, it's my task and my will to be the one continuing and memorizing every single name that will never return to their families, friends, or that will never see the light of day again. So I am writing down the names of those that have fallen, and whatever I know they have achieved. The names I am writing down are fake, as some of these people's real identities are unknown even to me, and others are changed to protect the families and friends of the fallen, but they serve as a reminder that these people existed.

Adi Amir – Spotter, former IDF conscript. Killed by Council while assaulting the airfield in Mission 1.

Gert Kleinschaap – Anti tank (Javelin) specialist, former Dutch Royal Army. Killed by Council in Mission 1 while assaulting the airfield.

Sasha Uragansk – Infantry, former Russian 1st Army Reserve Division. Killed by Council while assaulting the airfield in Mission 1.

Maxim Orechov – pilot, former 2nd VVS Division of the Russian Federation. Killed in action piloting a Seahawk in the 2nd Mission, when the helicopter was hit by an RPG and failed the auto rotation landing.

Zhenja Kyrochkin – Machinegunner, former Russian Naval Infantry(Morskaja Pechota). Killed by Council while clearing a building in their main base on Mission 4. Had 6 confirmed Council kills before he died.

Rami Dahan – Special Infantry, former Israeli 'Maglan' operator. Killed in action while assaulting the hiding place of the Council leader at the end of the campaign. Had one recorded Council kill before his death.

Depends on the service. And even though the group isn't official, DAI *does exist*, and is taking orders.

Of course, service prices vary and will differ based on if you're a trusted party.

Everyone needs weapons, ammunition, vehicles and so on. They pay us in whatever supplies we want, and we sell those off shore.

Oh cool, this is extremely similar to the group I am going to toss out into idea's, though it does have noticeable differences. I'm actually looking forward to see how this one turns out.

Any news on this DMZ?

Well, the two members that freshly joined, left for other clans, so atm I am still conducting this operation alone. That's good though, don't need to be official to do this stuff.

I also can't create GroupCPs or anything, since thread isn't approved, so it'll likely stay this way for some time.

I'll be adding a chapter about our venture to Napf though.
