Help anyone?

Question

Hello there i have this error, maybe you can help me out somehow please! i really want to get into the game! This occurs when i press the "Join Server" button.

http://imageshack.com/a/img843/4524/li2e.png - Have a look please.

Thanks!

Solution:

Type Run in the search bar. When you have it, type in 'regedit'.

Now, you want to follow this path.

-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\

-SOFTWARE\

-Wow6432Node\

-Bohemia Interactive Studio\

-ArmA 2

The one in bold will only be there if you have 64 bit version of windows.

Once you are there, double click on 'Main' and you need to edit the pathing that you are doing to launch. If you realise, the current error is the fact that you have two '//' in your pathing. That is probably what is causing the error.

Helped a guy with the same issue yesterday. I can't link that page so I'll try help with steps

Open your DayZ commander check you have no launch parameters set and then downgrade your Arma 2 to 103718 patch.

Tell me if that works.

So have you played Arma 2 since installing it. Clutching a straws a little but you do have to run Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA at least once before playing DayZ/DayZRP maybe this is your problem ?

If not we can look into the folders

i played ArmA, i needed to enter a public server to find out my GUID for the whitelist form, so i guess that counts.

This is what i did :

Type Run in the search bar. When you have it, type in 'regedit'.

Now, you want to follow this path.

-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\

-SOFTWARE\

-Wow6432Node\

-Bohemia Interactive Studio\

Thanks to Burgz, i managed to fix this, hope it helps :)
