Steam question

Question

So today at work I put some money on my steam from my phone to buy a knife on CSGO. Now when you do this it blocks you from using the market for 7 days because a new device has been used to add money to your wallet. My question is, is there a way around this and does it still stop my main device (my PC) from using market also

It doesn't stop your main device, I've ran in to the same problem before. It's just to stop people from hacking in your account and transferring your stuff to theirs.

As far as I know, the only way around it is to wait the seven days.

Newly Authorized Device

If you are on a newly authorized device that has not been Steam Guarded for 7 days you will receive a 7 day restriction from trading and the Community Market. Any other devices that have been authorized for 7 days will be able to trade or use the Community Market.

Does that help at all?
