For all wondering what this thread is, Hardline is something that the creators of Battlefield have been working on a new game, coming out this autumn. It is about Cops and Robbers, you can see the official trailer here : http://www.gamespot.com/articles/battlefield-hardline-video-leaks-online-shows-new-gameplay-footage/1100-6419910/

Also, Look at Frankie's video explaining the features of it, Enjoy! :D

Q. Why is Battlefield 4 [still] so buggy?

A. Because Dice have been developing this Hardline crap on the side...

It has nothing to do with DICE...

It's made by Visceral - the guys who made Dead Space

Why not get Visceral to help fix BF4? :P

But really, I think the 'Battlefield' in the title is just a name drop for better sales. They should have just called it 'Hardline', and made it it's own entity - cops vs robbers.

This has really pissed me off. They need to fix BF4 first.

I personally think this is the worst decision they have made.

Play Payday 2 instead. That way you don't get a bugged netcode game and you also stop throwing money at the EA perpetual moneymaking machine that has become of the Battlefield franchise.

"Hey guys we need a new idea. What should we do?"

"How about we change the soldiers with cops and robbers instead?"

:genius:

Avoiding EA at all costs. Fucking idiots ruining franchise after franchise. Another milktrain after the floppy DLCfest that was BF 3.5

Pre-Ordered Battlefield 4, 4 months before release. I will not make the same mistake again.

(Still spent 85 hours on it though :P) 97 including beta

I think that the development on this should have been put on Bad Company 3.

Or Star Wars: Battlefront 3.

I honestly have no want or need for this game. It's just completely... out of left field, and can stay there for all I care. I want the next Battlefields to actually be Battlefields, ya know?

Personally I think the game is going to be awesome! The battlefield franchise needs a change from war even if it's for one game! And to the people that say it's going to be rubbish/shit how do you know that? I think this will be a great mix of Payday 2 and battlefield!

Nope.

Anything with EA on it is not having my money.

Its not going to be a terrible game by any means, but hopefully with the "experimental" client in BF4 they can start to work on the issues such as the poor hit detection before the game comes out. I think what people fail to understand is that Battlefield is a franchise therefore of course the games are going to be the similar. Its the same deal with Call of duty it is a franchise so of course the games are going to be similar. However I can see where it can get a bit frustrating if its the same taste but different presentation every year. But if Battlefield/Call of duty changed to much would their fans buy it, the answer is a maybe therefore why should they take that risk. I know for a fact if they changed battlefield too much I wouldn't buy it unless it was revolutionary.

Anybody have any solutions?

My download just keeps stopping and telling me to 'try again later'?

Origin is just inconvenient, much rather have everything in the one place :3
