I know there is already a thread on this however it is not clear.

When I try and join any of he servers it says 'Server rejected connection'.

Does anyone know how I can resolve this?

That's because I done it on my own :P

I deleted everything related to Arma and even deleted everything from regedit and it seems to be working. (fingers crossed).

One way to correct your version number is by installing DayZ Commander.

Open the program, navigate to Install/Update (at the top right) then choose "103718" beside ArmA 2 Version. Click install and that should put it to the correct version.
