Silencer + AK

Just found a silencer and was wondering if I could still use my non-SD mags if I put the silencer on?

No, you will need SD mags for it.

Unfortunately not, Silenced AK-74ms have their own ammo type: AK SD rounds.

The silenced rounds aren't too rare, you usually find 1-2 magazines beside a silenced AK. If you have trouble finding them, you could attach your silencer to a different rifle/pistol.
