BlackPaw 4 Posted May 4, 2014 I do not have any idea why it is not working, but my friends cannot hear me. I have tried the previous thread that someone else made, but also tried reinstalling the Patch, then tried reinstalling the whole of the mod. Any Ideas? 0 Share this post Link to post
VoodooLR 1589 Posted May 4, 2014 Have you tried re-plugging the mic in? Does this only occur on arma or TS aswell? Have you checked sound settings on pc to mqke sure mic is visible? Is the mic switched on? :troll: Let us know 0 Share this post Link to post
BlackPaw 4 Posted May 4, 2014 Tried all of those before hand, and just in ArmA Next solution? 0 Share this post Link to post
Dalrona 2 Posted May 4, 2014 Are you sure your recording device (your microphone) is set as the default device in your Recording Devices window? If you do not know how to get to it then: >Go to your Start Menu. >Click Control panel. >Click Hardware and Sound. >Click Sound. Once you click Sound you should see something like this: Does the device you use have a green tick next to it? If not then click it and press the Set Default button. If the device that you use for Teamspeak is not set as your default device then it won't work on Arma. If it is already set as default then I'm not too sure what it could be. 0 Share this post Link to post

Already said I done this Marcus, but thanks anyway. ;P 0 Share this post Link to post
BlackPaw 4 Posted May 4, 2014 Ok, this is getting ridiculous. Any ideas? I have restarted my computer, re-installed the beta, and all other amounts of things... Really getting annoyed with this. 0 Share this post Link to post
Dave 1 Posted May 4, 2014 Did your mic come with any drivers that it needs to be installed? 0 Share this post Link to post
BlackPaw 4 Posted May 4, 2014 It has been working for the most part, only since the new DayZRP patch. Also just found out it works, but it is SUPER quiet, and only does this in DayZRP... 0 Share this post Link to post

You might want to PM a dev and see if they can help because this seems out of my reach 0 Share this post Link to post
BlackPaw 4 Posted May 5, 2014 Can you hear others in direct chat? Yes I can, it's something to do with the latest patch picking up my audio differently, therefore making it quieter. For clarification, I am using a Blue Snowball Desktop Microphone. 0 Share this post Link to post
BlackPaw 4 Posted May 5, 2014 Fixed it, just had to plug in another mic, set that as default and then set the Snowball to default after... Strange. Thanks though guys. 0 Share this post Link to post
Alyd 9 Posted May 5, 2014 That sure is strange, I'll mark this as solved anyway. Glad that you got it sorted! 0 Share this post Link to post
