Zekial: The Return of the Angels.

I thought I was never going back there, yet here I am. This place is where I lost any humanity I had left. A place only described to me as pure evil in its simplest form. It all started 5 months ago, when I first found myself here.

When I first woke up I couldn’t remember much. Dead Zoms were all around me, I was slightly bleeding and the Glock I held in my hand had no bullets. The only thing I could infer was that I had been attacked and had some difficulty keeping my ground. Getting myself back together I picked myself off the ground. I only walked one step before I heard a man yell at me. “Hey you, over there! Drop your fucking weapons now. Don’t make me hurt your pretty face”. That was the start of my career in the Death Angels. A group of renegades from North America they fascinated themselves with robberies and death. I just followed through, not questioning their beliefs. The Death Angels were destroyed and I was one of the only survivors.

From that point on I drifted in the wind. The survivors kept finding new groups, and all joined at one. I can safely say that I had tried a little bit of everything, I was even in a motorcycle gang for fucks sake. However that drifting stopped when the US Army in Chernarus recruited me into their ranks. Their goal was a noble one: to try to restore peace to a land which had none. That goal however would get utterly corrupted by the evil of Mark Rogers. Mark was a, well, “Professional bandit”. He killed more people then I can count for simple reasons like “He pissed me off”. He was, to some end, very successful at finding guns, using those guns to take more guns and continue on. The US Army was going to have a run for its money.

I started off continuing helping civilians of Chernarus with medical problems. It was a simple job, and someone might even mistake it for boring, however I never thought of it that way. The look on their faces was priceless. Marks corruption of good was too strong, and started with a white bus heading north from Electro. The highest ranking officer in the area, Sean Connors, was nowhere to be found, so that left Mark in charge. I guess the thought of having a vehicle was too much for his urges, so he forced us to trick the driver. The man was not amused, and attempted a getaway where he and his partner were killed. That is the first death Army caused.

Moving forward through that month was an endless string of robberies and killings. Sean was just Marks puppet, unable to do anything himself. All he could do is watch as Army crumbled into only a shadow of its former self. My old friend Scott Richards was almost killed multiple times during this period. I helped him fake his death however. At this time I started to come to terms on what I had done. I realized that the people I had hurt and killed were all people, not things. Bandits only see the weapon in his victim’s hands.

Army disappeared into thin air one day. No more orders or anything came. The silence was unsettling, but necessary. At that day I decided I would leave Chernarus, which to me was a place haunting my memories. In my mind nothing good could ever have come from that place, and so I moved on. I got around to certain areas all over the world. Destroying DA remnants in Panthera, Exploring Napf, and many other places. Taviana was the place I spent the most time at, and now I wish I was back there. The chilling bliss of the empty highway and the wind blowing through my hair on the bridge. However at peace I felt then, it was immediately dispersed as I remembered the events at Chernarus. Forever stained in my memory.

All of this begs the question. Why did I come back if I hated this place? Well it all started at my makeshift home in Branibor. That day started like any other. Me sitting around attempting to find something interesting on the radio. Then, out of complete randomness, an Asian woman bust through my door. She quickly introduced herself as Masuda, and I introduced myself with a strange surprise in my voice. That’s when I learned about RC and the second coming of the Death Angels. At first I didn’t belive that a man named Jax was reforming the group with the leader of a platoon of mercenaries. It just didn’t make sense. However as time went on I believed her more and more. She was foolish to be in the same group as Adrian Kowalski and Matthew Sanders. Scott had apparently been a part of them, but he must have seen the malicious intents and left as soon as possible. The only thing I thought of was that I had to stop this “Jax” before it was too late.

The journey back to Chernarus, as expected, was not easy. The time it must have taken Masuda to get to Taviana and the time for me to get back would give Jax one hell of a head start. And as I arrived in Berinzino, I was greeted by a legion of men. These men felt…. Different to any I have ever seen before. There was no compassion in their eyes as they took me hostage. They were very efficient about it, almost too efficient. “They were trained for this” I thought to myself silently. They took me all the way to the Black Woods to meet Jax. The man struck me as exactly the way I imagined him. A man who felt the ends justified the means, and was looking for power wherever he could find it. “Hello Mr. Arakma”, he said in a sneer. He was so much like Mark it made me sick. “I hear that you are trying to disrupt my business, however I am afraid you are far too late”. That moment is where I lost all hope. I had failed, and the Death Angels were going to go and hurt the people once more.

They escorted me back to the makeshift prison, but they obviously are not very good guards as with a little help from some old friends I escaped no problem. I am absolutely positive they are looking for me, waiting to pounce and go for the kill. I’m powerless to stop them. One man against an army. If I can’t stop them I guess I’ll have to outlive them. Which brings me to the reason I’m writing this. If anyone sees this, and I have somehow left this world. Please continue what I have started. For the sake of all stop the army of bandits. However by the time this is read it already could be too late.

Thanks to Mark, for letting me use DA and his character. And all of DA for helping me get behind knowing how to bandit. Our short conversation really helped me a lot with this.

Also, this is a kind of “Let’s not but say we did” kind of thing because I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be as perfect if we tried to reenact this IG. Both DA and Myself accept my kidnapping and escape as part of a cannon of sorts, and that means it will be my goal to avoid me recapture. Oh ya and this is all of Zekial's thoughts on the matter and are not exactly how things actually are. Zeke's "Pure Evil" approach is how he sees bandits in general in his time away.

Thanks again!

Thanks for reading a 1200 word thread!

Mister Zeke

With you being in the Lawkeepers and myself being in the Death Angels, You think you are some what safe, Incorrect what you do not know is that all we have to do is pounce and you will be punished.

Once you are captured you will be tortured and executed granted with us calling Lawkeepers to save you just for the fun of watching them die, I would like to bid you farewell and hope you live.... Until you meet us.
