Kicked for invalid xml

I was just kicked for invalid XML. MY XML is not a clan XML and is only a personal XML for my character. I was wondering if anything changed in the past 3 months for me to be kicked because as far as I know personal XMLs are allowed as discussed in this thread.

Only registered clans are allowed to use XML. The thread you linked is almost 5 months old, since then we've changed the way groups work and how they get approved on DayZRP.

Personal XML's are not allowed. Only XML's for clans are allowed which is an approved clan. No one may use these personal XML's and they will be kicked if done. Hope this answers your question

I haven't played in at least 3 months so I was unaware of the change, can I know why this change was made?

It's been made a perk for registered groups in order to make it easier to distinguish civilians from group members.
