Multiple Characters?

Could I have multiple characters? If so, how exactly does it work? If not, is there some sort of alternative like a name change or something?

To create a new character you simply need to create another player profile in ARMA2, and then switch profile when you want to switch character. However keep in mind that diffrent characters doesn't share KOS rights.

Basically creating a new profile in the main menu allows you to select different character names and faces. Of course, due to it all being bound to one GUID, you will still spawn in the same location with the exact same items.

For example if you were to make a new character named Joe Smith, he shares the same gear and stats as your Aleksandr character, but may look different in the face and have a different name.

The corollary of course is that you can't switch characters to avoid KoS rights that others have on you. To do so would be considered combat logging. Best practice is to stick to one character per play session. If you are certain that no one has KoS rights on you, feel free to change.
