Best picture size for signatures?

Just wondering what is the best size for a picture to use as a signature as I want to try make my own one but don't know what scale I should make it too?

The max is 750 x 150, I normally use 650 x 150 and centre it on the edit signature page.

760x145 to fill the allocated space. At least, that is what mine is.
