Teamspeak

Question

Just a question before I go through the process for getting whitelisted. I did not see it in the rules or faq but do you have to use the Dayzrp teamspeak while on the server or is it just recommended that it be used?

No you can use other methods of communication but this is where most of the community and staff are.

So I'd recommend you get it as the majority of people playing RP use it.

Yes you can use the Teamspeak. Mainly for un whitelisted players, it's there for asking questions directly to community helpers.

Main reason to use DayzRP TS server is obvious as Owen.K says, closer to the community and of course closer to staff.

I dont really see the need to use another TS server if its not for technical reasons.

Maybe you have a different reason, if so I would love to hear it.

I hear you, and there is no rule against that.

If you and your group of friends start a clan on DayzRP, and get approwed as a clan, there is a option for that clan to have there own channel on DayzRP TS server.

All up to you.
