The Tommy Gun shoots the .45 acp rounds.

There are two variants Semi Auto and fully Auto..

The popular mags are.

50-100 round drums

30-50 round sticks.

This would be a nice addition to the game.

What do you all think?

No, Thompsons are very rare and the odds of some to be in the hands of russian farmers are very slim

IRL, Thompsons are not as rare as one would think, but I also live in America where no guns are rare..

Our beloved map is actually not based on russia it is based on the northern part of the Czech Republic and in the Czech republic it is legal to own a Tommy Gun.

'Source Wikipedia'

Civilian ownership of submachine guns is regulated by the Ministry of the Interior, which classifies fully automatic submachine guns as Category A (Restricted Firearms and Accessories) under the provisions of Act 119 of 2002.[10] In addition to a valid gun licence, the prospective civilian owner must obtain a Category A Exemption from a local police agency and demonstrate the reason for owning a submachine gun, e.g. a legitimate firearms collection. Semi-automatic only versions of submachine guns are classified as Category B firearms which do not require special exception (e.g. Scorpion Evo 3 S1[11] is semi-automatic version of fully automatic Scorpion Evo 3 A1 [12] submachine gun).

So it isnt that unrealistic.. perhaps it could be a rare spawn, but I am sure there are a few Tommy Guns floating around the area in real life....

Also move to suggestions, that's my bad.

I can see where you are coming from, however we have had Mafia style clans and Military clans.. and to find M4's and grenades in the Czech republic is also kind of out there.. I am just throwing out a suggestion though.. just because the .45acp ammo is already in the game..

However if we based it on realism The Mosin Nagant should be the most common gun on the game, because they come from the area and there was over 300 million of them massed produced and the Mosin ammo should be everywhere because the rounds for it was also mass produced with numbers into the billions.

Updated the poll with non-biased choices.

I can always count on Rolle to rain on my parade lol.

Although it might be based on the Czech Rep. Its still and independent country, not even near the Czech Rep.

Great idea, I would like it with the single mags not the drum mags tho, or a chance to find the drums but them to be rare, great weapon, I could see it behind the bar in a cherno pub

It would be a lovely weapon for sure, but as said in the posts before me, a very unlikely find.

However the soviet PPD-40 or the PPD-34 would be a lovely fit.

It fires the 7.62x25mm Tokarev. And it has been included in several mods so I believe it could be possible to find in armaholic.
