There are multiple spawns very close to prud as you do not only spawn down south.

For example, the green mountain spawn is pretty close to stary (Follow the powerlines) and there is one a lot closer but it is a very creepy spawn where santuary used to be.

Yes. Everyone is respawning in different areas, which is going to make everyone pushed away from one place.
