RPing with a Camera

My character is a documentary filmmaker, and he doesn't go anywhere without his trusty Canon DSLR camera!

So my question is, is it acceptable to roleplay that I've got my camera with me at all times?

Extra Question:

I've seen multiple Event threads asking for musicians, I have a guitar and have sung plenty of times over Teamspeak to friends and roleplayed as a Busker in various GMod servers.

Is it acceptable to have a guitar with me? Or would said instruments be hanging around said pubs, camps, events, etc. ?

Yes you can have a camera, though if someone ask you to drop it during a robbery you can not use it per say. And yes it is acceptable to role play having a guitar.

You should take actual screen shots in game and publish some of them on the forum.

Yes, I'm using the camera as mainly a recording device, kind of like a GoPro, and OOCly I'll actually be recording for a mockumentary series I'll be making, all about my experiences in this server!

Also I look forward spending the night at a campfire, eating beans and singing songs with friends!
