Nope, you just get a radio when you spawn for RP reasons.

well seeing as radio is in game, and has many channels. i think it is better rp if ou want to ague that side.

less you use the TS for RP the better.

Radios in SA are different. They are a functional item in-game, basically opening a "side chat" option on whichever frequency you are on.

Obviously you need to be on the same freq as whoever you want to communicate with.

Implementing radios is already a subject that have been on the formums for many times.

If it will be done it won't happen soon because of the SA that is just released.

It would be very cool and awesome to have ACER inside the game for realistic communication with channels etc and non communication when you die or get robbed.

i was asking yes or no.....

not about people wanting them. Implementing . or any of that.

this was more me wanting to know if you use the.

then that would tell me if item is waist of space

Yes, you're capable of using radios, I think they require a battery to work, and won't work at all if they are not in pristine condition.

Try and remember that these radios are only short distanced, they are only capable of emitting in an 1km square radius.

I've been using it recently. Just firing some radio checks out on all frequencies every high ground I reach. No response as yet but they are in use with others.

I only just learned about the 1km radius aswell as the condition having an effect on comms too.

Well like I said, I am unsure which condition they can be in and still be functional, I was uncapable of getting my damaged radio to work, however I might just have used it wrong.

So, radios.

Well I use one to stay in contact with my sniper cover or to find my friends.

Some facts:

Radio is operationel with batteries from badly damaged to pristine. Of course it discharges due to useage.

Range is 1 km, I testet it with a friend and also googled and youtubed for information. On max range the communication is really broken.

Use the menu to change frequency and switch it on.

To use the radio, press "," or the key you assigned for it. You kann change between radio com. or global communication.

If there are more questions, just pm.
