Playing sounds ingame

Question

DinoB    20

I'm not sure if this is allowed, or ever done by anyone, so I might as well ask here. Is playing sound effects allowed ingame. I don't mean like "Scary ambient" or anything like that, I mean something more modest. For example: *pulls out a bottle of vodka and shakes it* *opens the bottle* etc.

I found these sounds that could represent that, so would I be allowed to play them when I write the above into chat?

Here are some examples:

I've seen some people do it at desal, so If its not really stupid I don't know why it should be forbidden

I'd be cool with that, interesting to know how you'd do it.

Wouldn't see a problem! :)

This is actually really interesting, and could improve some RP, I'd love to hear sound effects like that in-game, moderately used though! :)

It would be good for RP but people could be annoying IG by being to loud

Though if there was to be used properly it would have a greater sense of RP. I think that one of the staff members would be able to clear this up.

I think it would be okay if they sound realistic, not too loud/Annoying, and if it isn't played too often then it's cool. Adds to the immersion I suppose.

Well people play music thought their mics pretending to play guitar or what not, But I guess it really depends on how you do it.

As long as it's used moderately and in the correct scenarios I see no problem with this.
