TS3 Walkie-Talkie plugin.(well CrossTalk)

So I tried to find Walkie-Talkie effect for TS3. Apparently Walkie-Talkie is out of date and wont work. But next best and maybe even better(CrossTalk): http://addons.teamspeak.com/directory/plugins/miscellaneous/CrossTalk.html

So this plugin makes everyone in your TS channel sound like they are using Walkie-Talkies but you sound normal to them unless they use it too.

I guess it is better if you want to immerse yourself more and other guys don't want to hear YOU with sound effect. Or only select few want to hear it and some don't. Good solutin I think ;)

This essentially does the same as ACRE, which many have been hoping will be integrated into DayZRP eventually.

I'm still dreaming of the day I can send two way radio transmissions to my shogun.

ill give it a try see if it works

i cant even get it to download

found a working link here http://addons.teamspeak.com/directory/plugins/miscellaneous/Advanced-Combat-Radio-Environment.html

ok so i get the arma 2 part hooked in but it looks like the 64 bit ts3 plugin is not loading. the 32 bit one picks up and fails. im guessing thats the error you have. not sure the solution yet

if i rename the acre_64.dll to just acre.dll it picks up but fails like the 32 bit one

Whilst ACRE would be great for ArmA, I don't think it will work in DayZ, simply because of the logistical issue of getting everyone on the same TS server, same channel, with ACRE setup. I think you would need a completely separate server with ACRE.

@Chopper Dave: Try moving both acre_xx.dll's into the ts3 plugins directory and then it is very important that you RUN TEAMSPEAK AS ADMIN! It will not work otherwise.

That link is also a VERY old version of ACRE and is no longer compatible with Teamspeak. Here is the most recent one: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=11339

bad as in sounding like a real walkie talkie? or the plugin isn't good?

For me the "walkie talkie" plug-in sounds like a walkie talkie and it is ok, not good but a bit immersive, but it lowers the volume for me...or i did something wrong in the settings perhaps?
