It is currently negative 13 degrees outside with a windchill of negative 55 degrees... balls of merry will freeze and hell couldn't even warm this wasteland up.

I'm staying inside!

In the UK this morning, it ended up hale stoning and the wind was knocking people's fences down, it wasn't that cold though surprisingly.

We never had -13 degrees this morning though! :)

Well I'm nice and cosy wrapped up in front of my computer with the heating full blast sipping on a lovely cup of tea and slowly munching on some crumpets.

God it's good to be British!

Sounds like a normal winter in Lapland or simply in Nordic countries. Yet this year there is no winter.

Here in England we hardly ever get snow.

Good. Bloody hate the stuff.

Well said, chap.

One snowflake and every transport system stops.

-23 Celsius for me this morning. Didn't even bother to check the wind chill. The good thing is, when it's this cold, it stops snowing.

[Edit] Actually, I'm pretty sure it was actually -23 F. Was supposed to get down to -30 F overnight.

it was 7F outside today and my school district thought it would be to cold for students to wait for the bus in the morning so we had a 2 hour delay. I told my mom (Who is from Canada) and she laughed, called her parents (also Canadian) and they laughed for a good 5 minutes. Last thing my grandmother said was "what a bunch of wusses" and then hung up the phone.
