Hey, I'm not really to sure on how to resolve this but have got an idea.

1. Open up: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead

Their will be a folder in there called 'BAF', you want to delete it. After deleting it try finding a server and if it still doesn't work try below.

2. It sounds like you have downloaded the better models off one of the dlc's for ArmA and sometimes it creates errors, so you'll have to re-download the whole game again and don't download BAF this time or any DLC.

Try running the game as administrator.

Try using the beta instead of the full game.

This error is telling you that BAF is not working, or is corrupt.

Here's a solution I found from the Steam forum. You should really get in the habit of google searching your errors.

restart STEAM
run STEAM as administrator

validate ARMA 2: OA
validate ARMA 2: BAF
(right mouse button click on title in STEAM games list > properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache)
start ARMA 2: OA or ARMA 2: BAF and it should work (any of them shall lead to BAF installed)

I used this solution when I bought the OA addons and they didn't download for me on launch.

I quickly googled your issue,

I can't confirm but it's worth a try:

Run as administrator this file

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead\DLCsetup\BAF\datacachepreprocessor.exe
