New gaming setup suggestions?

I'm going to buy a new PC/components for Christmas, and I was wondering if someone could suggest something for me?

Something that I could run Arma 2,3 and Battlefield 4 with decent fps, and not lowering every possible setting to low.

I'm mostly looking for a new CPU (a new CPU means a new motherboard and power supply so post that as well)

My current setup:

GeForce GTX 660

AMD FX-6100 Six Core Processor 3,8 Ghz (overclocked)

Ripjaws 8gb ram DDR3

[i'm not really a pcwizz so help is grateful, also a note I'm not swimming in money so try not to suggest something too expensive]

Dino get a new CPU. Your GRX card and RAM seem sufficient for the games listed.

Intel i5-3570k

Asus Crosshair V

Corsair Professional Series AX 760W I don't know much about power supplys all i know is never cheap out on it

im not to sure on what your price range is but hope this helps

That motherboard does not support Intel CPU Bray ;)

Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87

Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz

This should boost your performance. If you later want to add more power you can get another GTX 660 as this motherboard supports SLi.

God dammit why can't AMD and intel use the same pin things :(

Thanks. I went to check on my local stores website and this is the closest I could find, so tell me if this is okay?

My current power supply unit is XFX Core Edition PRO 650W, is that enough to support that new CPU?

This one rather then the one you linked. The mobo looks the same.

Your PSU should be enough, don't bother buying a new one :)
