I think it would be a nice touch if you could remove your scope's with a toolbox and put different one's on your gun. I also believe that DayZero has done this.

Im sorry if there have already been a post about this and if there is remove this if needed.

It would be a nice feature but I'm not sure if it can be implemented.

ofcourse it can be implemented, Arma 2 can be modded till it's almost a whole new game. Will it function flawlessly is going to be another question though!

I don't think they're allowed to do that.

Unless the dayZero devs agree to it then I don't see this happening anytime soon.

It would be cool and all but the likely hood of this being implemented is pretty slim. Is Dayzero letting people look at the files and stuff? I doubt it.

I would imagine for something like this it would take a lot of time and effort when there are more important things

The attachment system is already in the game files that the Dayz devs are working on. I would guess in the next patch it will be finished

This is supposed to be a part of standard DayZ mod soon(ish?). The crafting will allow you to turn an ordinary M4A1 into a M4A1 AIM SD (camo) provided you can find all the necessary parts, for example.
