New item-Broken Radio-

Recommended Posts

Guest Terry

Here is my idea introduce a new item called the "Broken Radio" all this is is a radio that has X on top of it kind of like an empty water bottle but heres how it works

You encounter someone and proceed to rob them telling him/her to drop his/her radio but you have no where in your inventory to put it so you right click it and it breaks the radio which you can proceed to drop on the ground.Even if they pick it up it is, in an RP sense broken but not useless as you can repair the radio with a Scrap electronics and a toolbox. As a side note you would also be able to find these and repair them.

Would be cool if you'd be able to fix it with the "small electronic" item.

Interesting idea to say the least.

Nice idea, and the devs dont have to put much work in to it. Mostly copy pasta excisting code

What code does "pasta" have in the game??

Lol I'm sorry, not meant to be trolling; just thought it was funny.

ANYWAY, OP, I think that's a great idea!! I wouldn't want to give any attackers my working radio either! I think this would give a use to scrap electronics and give you more reason to keep one in a stash or ni a vehicle, just in case.

+1

That should work for NVG, GPS and any electronic device if there's another.

Then robbers would need to search the victim for toolbox+electronic part aswell.

Otherwise you could instantly fix it as the bandits leave, making the whole radio item implementation useless.

Maybe some kind of static object you need to be near to fix the radio? Like a workbench?

I thought you find them broken and you need to fix them, not that you can break them.

It looked like a bad idea until the part about how the electronics scrap will get a use +1!

This would work, maybe...

-1 +1 = 0

I'm on the fence on this one.
