Kicked for rocks2.pbo

Question

Woojerbuck    0

So after quite a while of playing Dayz on these servers I randomly started getting kicked for some rocks2.pbo file. I cannot personally see what it is that I get kicked for. I just get a box saying "You were Kicked." My buddies tell me its for the rocks file. I have tried replacing the rocks files, reinstalling dayz, the beta patch, and arma 2 itself. I have updated Battleye as well.

Any suggestions?

As in the @dayz foler? I've replaced it with the one from my other computer, which runs fine, and downloaded a new one. Neither worked.

File:

You can check files with steam, if it won't help You - change file for "new" one. That should fix this problem.

File named rocks2.pbo You can find in inside AddOns folder in arma directory

(...\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\AddOns)

And about bad version on steam:

1) Apply Beta patch which one You need.

2) Navigate to You'r steam Arma2OA directory

( e.g. in my case D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead )

3) Find a "Launch Arma2 OA Beta Patch"

1fqVj

4) Right click on it, then Send to -> Desktop (create shortcut)

5) Run via shortcut on You'r desktop.

6) Have fun

it works fine for me and few my friends : )

I found only one problem with this - You won't have steam overlay in game :P But it's not a big deal if You're playing on windowed mode ^^"
