so... lag. He was sitting there longer than I was at my position when I shot. I miss him three times, start moving, his buddies don't miss me? Strange strange one-sided-lag indeed.

Hey SoWeMEetAgain, Did you Zero you scope to 100 meters ? because if it was standard zeroing, its around 400 meters and you fired high over his head :)

But dont know just a question.

Ehm in that video you missed all 3 shots. DMR is zeroed at 400 (dead center), so the bullets hit way up over his head.

Imulicious: it is a DMR, which has no zeroing capability.

On zoom1 the middle of the crosshair is ~point of impact up to 150m, he was about 50-75m away, all shots were aimed in the deathzone.

regone: no, zoom1 is zeroed at 150m, try it out

Oh really? well i haven't used that gun that much, but you can clearly see that none on your bullets hits the glass/car. No impacts

that article is very wrong and outdated.

First off, they aren't mildots. You can easily see that by the DMR having two zooms but the "mil-dots" staying the same while zooming in.

And apart from that even the article says

Mils - Range

0 - 400m

So even according to the article I should have hit but as I said the article is wrong.

@regone: yes, you can clearly see that there are no hits, which is the exact problem

NO, regone, please stop talking about what the zero of the DMR is while having absolutely no clue. Please try it out.

If you don't have a DMR in dayz, download "the shooting range v1.1" and try it out there.

Everyone who says that I aimed too high has no clue about the DMR.

Download "the shooting range v1.1" and try it out yourself.

Okay, since most of you guys who have no clue about the DMR won't try it out yourself, but will also not shut your mouths, here you go:

Here will be a video where I test the DMR for you:

http://youtu.be/4tHovQo_FS8

the video will be up approximately 30 minutes from now

and here are screenshots of the point of aim just as I pull the trigger:

You missed due lag most likely, or the bullet changed direction as you hit the frontscreen.

- End of story.

This is not Call of Duty, the shoots are more complex man... it´s not exactly where you aim.
