all crates in base despawned

I havent played in a few days and i just came back to my base to see my door intact and fine and unlock it and go inside to see all my stuff has despawned and the wooden crates themselfs my questions are 

1. Why

2.can i be given my stuff back

Base building objects and storage have their own individual life spans, or time they'll remain on the server without any interaction before they're deleted. You can check the list here, but based on when I see you last played, it's well within the realm of possibility that your crates despawned. If you think this isn't the case, file a griefing report.

Regardless, we don't issue gear refunds for griefing reports or base building despawn timers.
