Unable to edit my status updates?

It appears I am no longer able to edit my status updates... How come?

From what I remember it was because staff can't monitor edit history of status updates so they wouldn't be able to catch flame/flamebaits if the status was changed. And so, edit function was removed.

Last time I logged into the forums was the end of September, I was able to do so then, and up to 2+ years prior.  Not sure if there were changes to the forums or not.

Well, that just sucks, but understandable.

I noticed that it was accidentally re-enabled for non staff in September, and Roland fixed it. This is intentional design since the edit history of status updates doesn't get logged in ICS. Only developers and staff members can edit status updates

I have a question then regarding whether or not normal members are able to remove their comments on status updates or is that also staff only?

Posts, status updates, status update replies, threads, etc. can only be hidden or completely deleted by the staff team
