TokiMcNoodle
Greetings! It's been a good 10 years or so since I've been into heavy RP, I used to RP an Italian mafia capo on GTA:SA back in the day and after playing DayZ for a few days I discovered the RP scene and I have to say I was impressed with all of the stories I've seen here and on the characters page. I am really excited to be joining you guys and I hope the whitelisting process goes smoothly because I haven't been this excited with RP in a while. So quick question, should I find an RP group in the forums or discord or would it be better to just find them in game and go from there? Personally all of my best RP's have been random encounters and that's how I got my capo job back in the day. Also, where is the server located just out of curiosity? Cheers! Link to comment
Sapphire Faebloom Posted September 8, 2020 Sapphire Share Posted September 8, 2020 It really depends on how you want to go about it! I personally really enjoy walk-up roleplay (Or what I term as roleplay found randomly within the game world) as it can be some of the most organic roleplay encountered. With that said I will acknowledge that sometimes more serious storylines do need to be planned out, and discussed before being acted upon. My best advice would be to try your hand at finding some roleplay within the game organically first, but if you're having issues doing that it may be a good idea to make a post on the IC Radio frequency looking for other survivors. If you're looking for more group-oriented roleplay I would recommend taking a look at the Official Groups, and Group Ideas page before messaging someone there to see how your character could fit within that group's storyline. To answer your last question I believe the server is hosted in North America with the hardware itself being in Sweden. I will admit that I may be wrong on that, so if anyone knows for certain they can feel free to correct me! Link to comment
