Recording Setup

Hey guys I'd love to be able to start recording Ig but I keep running into issues. Is anyone familiar with AMD graphics and their built in software that could spare a few moments?

What kind of issues are you having?

Not super experienced with AMD graphics, but I've bumped into it here and there.

When I try to record with the hotkey I set it normally comes up with an error or crashes me. This PC is less than a year old so I should have no issues recording and running the game, but DayZ hates me. I also have something about xbox game bar constantly coming up and I see a hotkey for that as well to record. Uncertain if two programs are cancelling each other out or not. 

and then IF I do manage to get video it goes to the wrong drive despite me trying to change the save location and is always terrible quality. Which leads to me loosing the footage I want the most due to it stopping when my drive fills up.

Do you remember what the error is saying?

The target folder is not on an external drive that you disconnect from time to time?

No it is an internal hard drive. I’ll see if I can get the error to come up later and screenshot it.

I got actual footage today! No errors. I think I fixed it with a good old fashion restart and painful step by step discord live stream XD

I would suggest setting up with OBS. It's lightweight and it works much better than Radeon Relive. Just set up some hotkeys to start recording/stop recording and you are good to go.
