'Pistol' Holster for Sawed-off Shotguns

As I am seeing more civilian weapons, or at least preferring to use more civilian weapon. I was curious if it was at all possible to create a holster for the hip, that would carry the sawed off shotgun. Perhaps also able to carry pistols. Whether it be a modded leather craft-able texture, or something found in hunter stands, etc. I would love to see new crafting recipes added!

I believe there is also a modded version of the BK-43, and sawed off variant if that could be used to avoid previous issues discussed.

A 'bandolier' would be my next suggestion, along with under arm holsters. As I know you can craft the leather belt and sheathe combo, at least in the past, I would appreciate newer recpies added to leather working. Though I am sure that'd be more taxing, I will not include it in the current poll.

Sheathes for machete/hatchets, interchangeably, would also be up there for a awesome leather crafting recipe.

As I was unable to find even a 'decent' example of this I could also see this, or others being attachable to backpacks as is available with the 'Canvas Backpack' or the one that attaches pins, hatchets, and PET bottles.

 

Overall I was excited to see barrels having tanning/crafting capabilities and look forward to use that in the days to come! These are just some ideas I'd like to see added if possible.

Would love to see stuff like this, more attachment slots just to make your character look more badass, who wouldnt wanna carry a sawed off by the hip. Also hatchet and machete slots would be awesome.

However, this would be a whole shit ton of work for the devs and as they already stated, due to the New Lore the development is gonna be slower than usual.

Of course, realizing this myself, I would love to see this just added to the "low priority" list they have. There are much more pressing and pertinent server performance issues, they could be dealing with.

Something I admittedly forgot to add though, so I'll make a disclaimer for the future.

I mean realistically though, who uses the pistol other than maybe killing infected or stylish executions. It's nice to see them being used more now, along with other civilian weaponry, but pistols are often just dead weight anyways.

They're an aesthetic, I just want to see them and other civilian weapons utilized more.

I'd like to see a craftable belt for it, but at least allow craftable leather knife sheaths and a canteen as well.

I mean you can attach a pistol holster to a tool belt afaik. That works for it. As for a shotgun a knife sheath attached to a tool belt but for shotguns would be sick so it attached to your lower back. Honestly my point is just you don't need tool belts, bags, pouches for bags, vests pouches AND then a bag etc. PLUS holsters for both. It's overkill.

I rarely use a pistol on my pistol holster; and the knife sheath spot is just for convenience. It'd be nice to see said one of two slots could fit a shotgun, and/or an extra IFAK Bag/Belt Bag.

A gun belt would be nice. Maybe it could fit and display bullets or shells + have a slot for a sawed off shotgun holster.

I believe Mass has a shotgun holster like the one you showed in your first picture, don't know if it's usable or still a WIP model, but it's available to be spawned in offline mode.
