End of the World Event Series

Hello community,

Over the course of the upcoming two weeks there will be in game events held as often as possible during peak hours (19:00-00:00 SERVER TIME) on S1 Chernarus which will mark the end of the current lore.

These events are mainly run by me and other Admins and Gamemasters, and does not have Loremaster involvement. There won't be any written reasoning behind the events, it will only play out in game. Lore:

All events are roleplaying events and you need to stay in character. Server rules still apply as it is done on the live server.

FAQ

• How will the events be announced?
  • The events will be teased on the radio forums, possibly on Discord and through in game radio broadcasts, as well as in this thread.
• How do I participate?
  • You participate by going to the locations called out in the radio broadcasts. Select staff members will be given vehicles to drive around the maps and pick up other players. Be online on the server. Simple.
• What will the events consist of?
  • Mainly zombie hordes rushing a set location. Location will mostly be based off where most players are close to. But there might also be some twists and surprises. The goal is to further roleplay between individuals that would never agree to before such an event, as well as showing that the end is near.
• Will the events give any rewards?
  • Any survivors of the events will be reimbursed ammunition for their efforts. All vehicles surviving the events will be free for all. Depending on the outcome of the events there might be some phat loot given out as well.
• Will the events be streamed?
  • Unless @Roland streams there will be no stream from my POV as he does not allow it.

The planned lore event will still happen. This is just extra juice and something to give players a purpose IC the last two weeks.

The reset that happened was because of the mod update.

 

Next 'reset' will be an entire lore wipe.

Yes. The lore wipe on June 1st will reset the server, apply a ton of changes to the map as well as a new lore. You will have to create a new character on the webpage too, fitting to the new lore.

The server reset we had last weekend was a result of some mod conflicts in the recent patch we launched, and is not related to the lore wipe.

This is great news! Thank you DayZRP staff  for continuously thinking of Fun things to add to the server, especially in a time like this. if all goes as planned, this will lead up to an epic end lore event and I’m so excited about that!
