thought tank zombies were supposed to be slow. This is probably just a normal zombie. Which are also tanks sadly.

It'll take more than 22 axe hits to bring him down, although I would suggest using a gun than staying close to him

Yea that's not a tank zombie. Hitting a tank zombie with an axe will take a lot more hits

Tank Zombies wear gorka clothes, walk instead of run, and take multiple magazines to kill. Once LW hits they will show as wearing Ratnik armour

This generally happens when fighting infected too close to a building or inside of a bush. They get stunned as if they're getting hit, but I don't think all the damage goes through. Your best bet is to do what you did at the end and move away from the bush.

After seeing parts of Roland's stream today, the tank zombies I seen were pretty tough. They look to be a challenge and I would hate to get cornered by one in a dark alley of Chernarus. Given they will be wearing the Ratnik armour and the Gorka uniforms it will be a cool sight to see from a distance. When I think of the tank zombies this is the picture I get in my head:

Hofer didn't realise how tough they were when he spawned them  they are very rare and given their slow speed fighting them is basically optional! You'll have to severely fuck up to die to just one tank zombie
