Why the verdict is not fair: I would like to speak directly to a member of the Staff Team to explain this as it may be quite private.

Additional statements/comments explaining your point of view: If the removal of the 2 days ban be possible, I would like to request that 5 warning points be added over the previous 5 warning points given to me as I see it to be fair.

What would you like to achieve with this appeal: The removal of my 2 days ban if possible.

What could you have done better?: Used a different software to message my friend on rather than do it in game using the //.

A team of staff have looked over this report and made a decision regarding it.

Using OOC chat, the //, should only be used when necessary. From what we found, you had over 700 messages in about an hour and a half. We always emphasise for people to prioritise roleplay over anything else whilst in game, as per the following rule:

• 3.1 You are required to role play your character at all times while in game. No OOC events or communication may take priority over your role play. You are not allowed to ignore other players attempts to role play with you.

The fact you had so many messages, most of which were to do with casual conversation, indicates to us you were not focusing on roleplay, rather having a conversation OOC. Side chat is very immersion breaking. It was very clear you were prioritising OOC over actual roleplay. Not to mention, this is now your second ban related to it. It is clear to us that you are choosing not to abide by this rule. 

Because of this, we see no reason to overturn the punishment given to you. In fact, due to this being your second time disregarding this rule, your punishment will be adjusted to the upper bracket available.

Seriously, like @Hofer previously advised in your last appeal, it's time to start adding people on other clients that you wish to talk to if you want to talk out of character. 

Outcome: Appeal denied - Points adjusted to 10.
