Low voice IG

I keep running into this issue my mic picks me up loud and clear on any other games/sites but in dayz my voice seems to be quiet as anything and I can't find the problem my mic is all the way up and it is still too quiet.

Have you looked into the VOIP Input volume in the game settings? Usually that would the main cause.

Alternative reasons why voices can be low is either using a helmet that covers the character's voice IG or other settings control your volume.

 

Check through the in-game settings for VOIP/Microphone Input volume slider.

 

Also what you could try is to access "Sound" settings on your windows settings, select your microphone and click Levels and boost the mic to 100 and adjust the boost.

 

Also in Advanced, tick "Allow Applications to take exclusive control of this device"

Yeah, we saw you in Solnichny or wherever and your voice was loooowww as hell lol

Check your microphone outside of DayZ and see if it is a problem outside of the game

I fixed it now it was my in game issue as it was on a 2 bar than a 3 due to how thicc my voice is

Are you talking about pressing the up/down arrow when you're talking? That only affects the distance at which you can be heard

For some reason it made my voice 10x louder as the people i ran into not long ago could hear me well so fuck knows really lol
