First!

Yes, I think it should be. We need more rifles that are designated for marksman and not "snipers" since we have too many of those already. Plus there is the G36 that the Germans use and I think someone here was wanting one. It's more NATO weapons and I like me some NATO weapons.

We already have a shit ton of modded guns, i voted no, and would vote yes to remove modded guns

Yes. This mod is great because it allows me to use the MK48 Mod 0 to blast people into oblivion.

How is it invalid? Most modded guns are badly modded, like clipping through your hands, invisible magazines, and why should we have that PPSK? For example, if we already have the beautiful AKM's, they use the same ammo, same mags, why should we have that uglyass gun that looks something out of COD3?

I remember the days of me camping Elektro with a DMR on Arma 2: DayZ Mod, good times... I don't want to see it on here though... There's so many better choices out there. And I am kinda with Jackfish on this one... We need more civilian weapons in the selection if we're any more weapons, period.  -1 from me.

To add: I honestly hate joining DayZ servers saturated with a crap ton of mods. We need less, not more.

With the above statements and the list, I'll have to -1 this one

Is there a way for one of our amazing developers (you, for example) to pick and choose what weapons from the mod are implemented? Maybe remove the duplicates and also some of those that are less suited for RP, such as the AS50 and M107?

Also the AA-12 should be restricted so I remain the only person in DayZRP history to have legitimately owned an AA-12   ?

We can choose what gets to spawn and what does not get to spawn, however the size of the mod remains the same, meaning we have a bunch of unnecessary shit to download that we end up not even using, the way to solve this would be by unpacking and repacking the stuff we need into our own mod, however, and I cannot stress this enough.

We cannot do that, unless we get explicit permission from the mod author.

Yeah I already checked before I voted in the poll and he doesn't allow that. We could reach out to them and ask for specific permission but I doubt they would consent.

 

We could maybe try using it without repacking it and just limit what spawns like you said... it is only 149MB ?
