Detailed description of the events: Me and the boys are meeting up at GM when suddenly a guy wearing a big heavy Gorka helmet and a white vest comes up with an AK drum mag, we're all lining up waiting when he suddenly pops up. We approach and try to speak to him, he doesn't say a word and just starts running, we run after him just saying things such as "Hey Wait up!" "Hey why are you running?" etc. etc. He points his gun back at us once but then turns and starts running again, he still doesn't say a word.

We chase him for another 20 seconds or so when he just turns and sprays me down out of the blue, and the boys then kill him for KOS'ing me.

That was me, I did yell out "Get away" and a couple of seconds later "Get away or I will shoot". I have no clue why you didn't hear my voice but. I think it was because of my gorka helmet + ballistic face mask. It mutes you're audio when you try to speak (I think). If that's the case I apologize and didn't realize that disadvantage but I can assure my microphone was turned ON.

So even though you were entirely surrounded and COMPLETELY out manned and outgunned, you decided to just start spraying there were at least 6 people chasing after you, a single man.

No video on my end, sorry. 

To keep this one short, 12 of us run up to GM where we meet @brh999. He panics and starts running away without saying a single word so naturally we give pursuit. Eventually he turns around and shoots @groovy toez dead, before being promptly killed himself. During this whole interaction, no VoIP was heard from his side so there was no way for us to be aware of any initiation that he may have dropped.

Sadly I didn't record the encounter, as I have just upgraded to new hardware.

 

From my perspective a large number of us were gathering at GM and we had just started to mess about getting into a line. When suddenly @brh999, and two others round the corner near south-east side. I don't recall him saying anything as a large group, I'd say roughly 5-7 of our group begin to approach him asking him to stay still and not to panic. He continues to keep moving backwards, with a gun drawn. About midway down the south hill towards Zelen, he points his gun. We don't light him up immediately, since the entire time he hadn't responded to us at all, all the while we kept asking him to stop moving, and that we just wanted to talk. A bit further down, just before I'm about to drop an initiation on him, since it was getting ridiculous chasing someone down a mountain who wasn't saying anything, did @brh999 Immediately turn on @groovy toez and begins to light him up. @groovy harlow, @groovy tony, and I then pull our guns up and drop him. I will say he didn't say anything over VOIP, and he could been having issues on his end. However this doesn't excuse the fact that he could've typed a response to our rp attempts, or asked us to wait to fix his mic.

Reason:

@brh999 in this situation you are being chased by multiple armed men. You allegedly tell them "Get away or I will shoot." before you shoot the OP dead. Moments later, you yourself are gunned down and killed.
Unfortunately nobody in this situation has any video recording of the events that unfolded so we are unable to determine exactly what happened. We cannot say for certainty if you did initiate like you claim, and if you did initiate we are unable to determine if the OP and his party received the initiation. As a result of this, the accusations of invalid KOS have been judged as inconclusive. For future situations like this, we would advise that if possible, people record their gameplay so that if called into a report they are able to provide video evidence clearly displaying the facts of what occurred.

From the POVs of both yourself and the OP's party, as well as the hit logs of the incident, what we are able to determine is that multiple people were following you. This is indisputable. Despite this, you whilst alone, decided it would be a good idea to open fire on them which resulted in the death of the OP. We are not sure how you expected to survive a gunfight by yourself against multiple armed opponents. To us this is a clear breach of rule 3.2 which states:

Engaging multiple armed people by yourself is foolhardy and unless you have the combat skills of John Wick, extremely unlikely to result in anything other than your death. You will be given the standard punishment for NVFL which includes the permanent killing of your character.

In the future if you find yourself in a similar situation, we strongly suggest that instead of reverting to combat you choose to roleplay. Whilst your character might be fearful of a large group of armed people, resorting to violence by yourself is a clear demonstration of No Value For Life and you will likely find yourself back here in the report section if you repeat these actions.
