Natasha kicks back in the chair she sits in, lighting a cigarette up. She looks down on the young man in front of her, he's sitting cross-legged and looks nervous, jittery.

"What- What is your plan, then...? How do you- How- How-"
"Spit it out." A puff of smoke escapes from her lips, trailing to the ceiling.
The man squeaks, tongue-tied. He composes himself.
"How do you plan to be a hero? Like Robin Hood?"
"By being very sneaky. And very thief-y."
"Thief-y?"
"Don't question my choice of words."

Natasha stares at the man, before rising from her chair. They have a lot in common. They have nowhere to go, they are outcasts of society. Did anyone ever like them before? Maybe, maybe not. There was no real reason for anyone to like them in the apocalypse. So if they were going to be treated like dirt, so was the rest of society.

It’s been about two weeks since returning to Chernarus. Caitlyn and her companion arrive at the Denizens’ headquarters, accepted swiftly into the small family of strangers and weirdos. It wasn’t the first time they’d been in such a position. Living here certainly wasn’t as comfortable as what the cabins were like in Livonia, but it was indeed a time for something to change.

Caitlyn didn’t like the way Natasha ran things. She knew the concept was one of good faith, but there was much work to be done. Briefly put, Cait put on a brave face and is one of the few people who stood up to Tasha Dreadful and got in her way, and forced her way into new leadership. The bravery and confidence coming from being tread on for so long, Caitlyn enforced a new era of these misfits and ensured that all was equal, and nobody would get in the way of the Denizens.

Natasha, to this day, is said to be tied up somewhere in their living quarters. Though she hasn’t been seen since the overthrow. Should she still be part of the Denizens, she has been forced out of a place of leadership and is no more than a mere well-known name amongst their community.

Given the circumstances in the present, a handful of members of the Soup Kitchen near Sitnik, Livonia, who were tired of the same old being stepped on, over and over, had followed suit upon discovering Rehctub and Caitlyn’s goodbye message. Many traveled in vehicles shortly after discovering her disappearance, they all had one rendezvous point in mind upon tapping into Chernarussian radio frequencies: Svetlojarsk.

 

 

The Denizens are a group of people in South Zagoria, Chernarus, who have banded together to live in harmony and peace, they help one another and people who are much like them. They want to give to those in need and lend a hand where possible, but they also want to take from those who definitely do not need all the things that they have. That doesn’t mean to say they won’t joke around and mess about with other people for their own entertainment.

For the most part, if you don't bother the Denizens they will not bother you. You will probably be treated fairly and in a friendly manner unless the Denizens see fit to make quick work of you. Most people that the Denizens dislike are those trying to enforce laws and those who seem to have a problem with hoarding. Where we see fit: We will steal, we will rob, we will liberate, and we will punish. We are tired of being the underdog.

Set up a living area at Svetlojarsk pub as a charitable area for other survivors. (Day 1025) COMPLETE

Help like-minded people and supply the poor man with needs to survive. (1/30) (Ongoing) (Day 1045)

Take from the "rich" to provide to the above task. (0/30) (Ongoing) (Day 1055)

Acquire a chessboard. Win 40 games of “Betting Chess.” (0/40) (Ongoing) (Day 1050)

Collect at least 50 cans of non-perishable food to supplement our Denizens. (0/50) (Day 1045; This is a repeating goal.) COMPLETED [x1]

Make our mark known to those who try and get in our way or oppose us. (Indefinite)

Form bonds with like-minded folk or groups to ensure the “eradication” of hoarding. (Indefinite)

 

 

INTERNAL/PERSONAL GOALS:

Obtain 25 cans of Tactical Bacon to sate the needs of Jack Lemons (6/25) (This is separate to the cans of food external goal)

Set up a weed farm for Nina to bring peace and love to the country (Day 1025) COMPLETE

Collect one of every type of knife in Chernarus for Rehctub (12/12) COMPLETE

Prioritize RP over PVP, no matter what.

ALWAYS Talk out potential rule breaks with an opposing group/player if possible, before considering a report.

Provide both enjoyable hostile and neutral roleplay equally. This includes internal and external.

Ensure we keep the coast active with our roleplay, and not just sticking to “Triangle” like past groups have.

Progress development with group characters with great internal roleplay - be it hostile,  neutral or friendly!

Help players both new and old if necessary, giving tips and help when and where needed to maintain a good relationship in the OOC Community

Recommend players who would be worth joining us, or who are interested in us!

Revive Chernarus by any means necessary!

Good luck with this. The only thing I found odd was:

Denizens lore vs group goals:

Ah, allow me to elaborate on that. Personally from a realism standpoint, stocking up on food for a big group of people is only natural, as you don't want a group of like 10+ people fighting over scraps, you wanna keep them fed and hydrated. As for the internal Lemons goal that started as a meme but I thought it would be a fun side project.

When I talk about hoarding I am talking about these people who go around triple carrying weapons for example- you definitely don't need three guns to defend yourself. Things that aren't necessary that you keep on you, makes you look like a kleptomaniac, a hoarder. We want to reduce the amount of people who have that kind of mindset. It's not limited to guns, but you get the picture? One man does not need a bag full of tetracycline at all times. Other people can benefit from the medicine, so would you be so kind to be liberated of all that medicine, sir?

To add on to what Chewy wrote:

100 cans of food for how many people we have (there's also more on the way) isn't unrealistic or hoard-y at all. That wouldn't even last us a month if you consider that most people need a few meals in a day, lol. Plus if we end up having too much for the group itself we will give it away to others, hence the group goals stating as much.

Either way, wish us luck! We've already started our roleplay on Chernarus and have been interacting with the other groups established there. Hope to see you in game.
