Let me start by informing you of the events that occurred many years ago, which resulted in my permanent ban. I also want to make it clear that I did not mean to create an alternative account. I have recently grown an interest for DayZ again and came upon the dayzRP community. I created a forum account and found out that my steam account is blacklisted. I contacted a member of the support team to inform them of the situation. The staff member who I connected with on discord was Pepsi (#1208). Pepsi listened to the issue and informed me that I should create a ban appeal on the forum, so that the issue can be resolved.

A couple of years ago I created a forum account named “Nathan Okulov” which successfully passed the whitelisting phase. After a period, I tried to log in to my account and found it to be deactivated and was advised by staff to create a new account. I did so and failed the whitelisting phase, requiring 100% to pass, and after studying the rules and re-sitting the phase multiple times I still could not reach 100% and due to this I was banned.

 

Why the verdict is not fair: I believe this verdict is unfair and harsh, I suffer from dyslexia which makes tests like these a lot more difficult. I believe failing whitelisting should come with a temporary ban not a permanent one.

 

Additional statements/comments explaining your point of view: I understand that the norm for submitting an unban appeal is within 30 days however at the time I was immature and deeply regret my actions.

 

What would you like to achieve with this appeal: Given the opportunity I would like to be able to submit a new whitelisting request or at least help other people who suffer dyslexia and other issues so that they can have more chances at completing the exam.

 

What could you have done better?: I should have taken more time to complete my application and also explained to the staff why doing the exam could be more difficult for me.

If you wish to appeal your account being permanently banned you will need to make a support ticket where the admins will handle it appropriately. This can be located in the support tab at the top right side of the forums. 

We will state that this is clearly an alternate account and that using your previous account to make the request is advised. No user on DayZRP is allowed more than 1 account registered with us, which is a matter to be handled by the admins. If your old account was removed, please ensure that you provide as much information about your ban that you can, as well as ANY accounts you may have linked to them (steam, previous forum accounts etc.). Your best chance at entry, through the support ticket, is to be transparent with the team.
