Why a second prefab?
Fort Miller was designed as our ideal picture of a military base. It was meant for us to be a nice location where we could spread our campfire RP through the location, due to graphical issues we had with clipping and the general size of the prefab (Which caused all our roleplay to be bundled up in a single building) So with that in mind and with a lot of feedback from visitors and from the community discussion we wanted to present to you our second attempt at making a prefab for Section: 20.

As you've noticed we've gotten rid of our high walls and large buildings and instead focused our efforts on a smaller location.

Disclaimer: Our first prefab is no longer active and present in the game!!

needs more details, add some rubbish and other things in the courtyard .. or add some grass there.

plus the barrier around the tree makes no sense, you cant even use it and just looks odd.

Also another very important thing ive noticed with your other prefabs is a lot of clipping..

MAKE SURE NOTHING IS CLIPPING.

Haha yes, I'm straightening out all clipping now! I've learnt that one the hard way.

I'll see if I can replace it; possible use the free'd up item to add some rubbish! Thanks for the input man; wouldn't expect anything less from you!

2 things i see wrong in these pics other than what has already been pointed out.

1: one of the walls is placed crooked by a couple of degrees.

2: crate clipping.

Seen the post on the Council page and myself through stream. I like this new addition way more than the previous. Unsure yet where the location is but I believe is more void of animal dangers like Bears or Wolves, would've been unfortunate to run into those mutts when travelling light.

Now I will detail in categories what I think of each

1. Look and Feel :

I like the Academy look of it, I can see soldiers lined up being presented their honors or vows, the main building looks like an officer training academy, with classes to study or practice out in the yard.

Pros : Good worn up design and feel, good touch on the overgrowth. | Cons : None.

2. Defense and Covers :

Being smaller than Fort Miller, it will be more easy to defend against multiple front attacks if focused, even with overwhelming numbers, the main building has multiple peek spots but small, making it easier to surprise and manageable. The walls however, may prove a slight difficulty but it's compensated with two levels of building floors to overlook.

Pros : Great CQC Posibilities, flat areas negate possible sniper attacks upon the building, placing a watchtower can provide supremacy over area oversight. | Cons : So close to the treeline will open the base from ambush or stealth attacks.

Overall rating

I like this revamp of the base to a more acceptable lore, well established, could use less rubble to prevent clipping collisions. I give it a solid 8.5/10, would want to give a visit in-game!

All it needs now is a chained up infected in the back garden ?

But seriously this is leaps and bounds better than your last prefab attempt when it comes to detail (Although i did like Fort Miller for its military aesthetic, it was just overly big making it bland). I really do feel that smaller is better and this imo is the perfect size for your group.

Outside of the obvious clipping issues and redundancies already stated and acted upon, nothing critical comes to mind when looking through the screenshots.

Seriously, good work with this, i'm looking forward to "stumbling" upon the place IG for a boots on the ground first hand experience of the place.

Oh and the theme tune ❤️
