Give the lore masters admin tools

@Roland -

We have an excellent team of lore masters right now. The recent serial killer lore, as well as some of the Chernarus lore events that were done were excellent. We've been enjoying the lore, and it's made the server exciting.

I've learned today that the LM team has lost their tools once again, and all in game events have ceased. This is really disappointing, and something I hope changes.

Please give them back.

What about having admins take up this extra responsibility as it's first and primary task? (Seeing it concerns the enjoyment of the roleplayers on the server.)

How many of our other tasks should we prioritise less then? And how much should we expand the admin team?

@Stagsview previously had tools until very recently, and the lore events that were had because of them were fantastic.

Admin team does enough. Giving them that responsibility is preposterous.

As much as i would love to get more staff involved with projects. From personal experience it was extremely hard to manage events server wise while getting the admins to follow along with my instructions on what to do for the event. Things flow so much more natural when you have direct control on what happens...and from there making it far more interesting for others. It was a process i worked with prior when @Hofer kindly helped me out..but sadly He has already LOTS of duties as admin and i could not ask him for more help than what they already do for the staff.

I'll be down to work myself up as a Staff Member and help out in any way possible, on a real note I feel maybe some delegation could work? Having Administrators focus a little bit less on other things when there's Lore things about to happen. I'm not talking about taking a major backseat. I'm just offering alternatives to tools.

Well, why did they lost tools? I'm not against Loremasters having tools but I can imagine that decisions on this server don't get taken without proper reason?

We thank you for alternative options, i honestly really do...But to be utterly honest? From having the ability to directly effect the server the last half a year with events...I know what works server wise..I cant rely on volunteers...they arent consistant....I cant rely on staff...they have their own duties. Its why when having tools we made the most of every little scrap we had. Working with every noot and cranny. Look what we could do with 1 person with tools...map and godmode with the serial killer event series? We got nearly the entire server on Red Alert...

This was pretty great; not going to lie. Maybe Loremasters should have their tools back.

This is absolutely not the right thing to do.
Loremasters are our storytellers, our story developers.
Admins responsibilities are already overloaded and not the same.

Loremasters having tools will help progress the lore and storylines without them having to ask an Admin for assistance.
If they didn't have tools during the last event, there would have been no progress and the storyline wouldn't have gone the way it did.
Staggs did a fabulous job with it last time and has always done a fabulous job, same with other Loremasters.

Here's the thing. Tools for Loremasters is needed.
It will only help progress things.

My group, and myself specifically only started to really play again because of their most recent work. Things were stale and were not going anywhere but we had a purpose for a bit.
Of course we have our own internal roleplay and other conflicts, but what we had with the Lore team was amazing and we want more and unfortunately without their tools, its not possible.

Everyones tools were revoked when the wipe happened to help with server performance. Nothing to do with them.

Tools were removed mainly due to performance concerns, no one knows when GMs and LMs will have them back apart from Roland.

Tools from my understanding where removed because Rolle was checking out all possible ends that could be coursing the lag/crashing on the Livonian server (what i utterly respect). Since then we havent heard anything, know anything or can do much more besides the timeline that we have been working on, upon the staffs request. Im honestly happy to work..But we also want to do more a direct approach in effecting the servers.

As far as I'm aware it's just a temporary thing to see if the tools had any corrolation with all the serverside issues. So hopefully they'll soon get it back.

I don't see why they should have. Been supporting LM's to have tools for about a year now. Give them back their tools so the lore of the server can improve

I think we need this on the server to involve everyone as people to provide not only rp, but a since that we have alternative means to do in the server than pvp and players avoiding interaction because the of theres nothing else to do. Which means ultimately we lose people from our great community, which some of don't want anyone to lose interest and find other means to get the interaction somewhere else.

I don't see any reason to why LMs don't have them. I've heard that staggs and the others have done a lot of cool mini events, and it's something I would like to see continue as it helps to create RP. sooo +1 here

I don’t see the down side to LMs having tools. I support LMs having tools because how else is the lore going to progress? Shits been dry as hell for the last few months with fuck all happening lore wise and when the LMs finally have good ideas and shit to do with the lore they can’t do it.

Give the LMs tools so the server can be more interesting, nuff said.

LM's make the lore but most importantly are also the ones who create story lines and interesting encounters for those on the server. @Stagsview did this for a while now and every single thing he did while he had tools made people remember it and created amazing RP. His latest one was the serial killer plot which involved multiple different community members who just loved what he did.

The current lore narratives have been the best i've witnessed in the community. I was just getting into the new Nirvana one. My character had a sample on him and was actively interacting with groups of my choosing, then a player/map wipe happened. So i ask the LM's, specifically Staggs, about getting a new Nirvana sample and he told me to wait because nobody has tools.

I have been following the story as far as I can go, but i can only do so much without the next step in the events. so i was like, fair enough, i can wait. But its been almost two weeks and now im just getting bored. I have no interest in the live, die, repeat conflict storylines of your average group nor do i care for memeing about being neutral. I have been building stories on these events and things just feel stale on that storyfront right now with no progress.

Please give tools back, i beg thee
