report s2 KOS in soup kitchen 2nd march 2020- 7pm

i was just killed by a guy without initiation on the lvonia server at the soup kitchen base in sitnik at around 7pm UK time.  he walked up to me, raised his gun and killed me. I lost a lot of gear to this guy who broke the rules. my in game name is Cameron Flannel, i am not sure who killed me.

Detailed description of the events: a guy killed me for no reason without initiation. he waled up to me and shot me as displayed in the video. I had met this guy around 5 mins prior to the incident where he had punched me again just fo no reason- I hadn't even spoken to him. then a left the area and came back thinking he may have left. he hadn't, so he must have recognised my voice and killed me.

John Focking Joyce's POV:

So it was a beautiful day in Livonia and I was just chatting with the Soup Kitchen people. Suddenly I see a man with a very short pants walking up to us. I laugh and make some jokes about him and his pants. He then comes up in my face so I tell him to back the fuck off or I would beat him up. He doesn't listen so I beat him up. 

The soup kitchen people get between us two and try to calm the situation. He then tells me that if I did that again he would go to his base, get a gun and kill me. Me (being a freshspawn with a shotgun without ammo) tell him 'OH REALLY OH REALLY YOU FUCKING CUNT'. One of the Soup Kitchen people reconizes me as a Joyce and tells me that if he tries anything he would help me out. I smile at the man while I slowly grab his weapon out of his hands to kill the man myself. Unfortunately the man ran off. I was scared for my characters life so I changed clothes because I knew he was going to get his weapons. I change clothes and while standing in my underwear I hear his voice. The Soup Kitchen people had my back and told him I left.

The man now thinks im gone but jokes on him, I was right behind him in a tent. I then slowly walk up to one of The Soup Kitchen people and nod at him. He smiles while he drops his weapon. I then walk up to the man and ended his life.

@CameronJW your video appears to be 6 seconds long, which is an unusual length of time for software to record. Do you happen to have more video that you have not shared with the GM team?

theres a 30 second video, I just hit Windows key and G and hit record last 30 seconds. only recording software I have is the xbox app overlay as I only usually record clips on CoD. never needed it for anything else

For the GM team which one of you runs up instantly saying "gear gear gear" and "you ruined his plate carrier"?

Lilith Knight POV:

So im chilling at the Soup Kitchen, making stew and growing crops and shit. I think at this point I was grabbing a code lock to lock up those that had been broken into. I hear these two having an argument and hitting each other and stuff, the dude in the shorts was in the Joyce guys face and wasn't backing off and telling him to fuck off and learn respect stuff. I ran up and intervened, shooting my shotgun into the air and telling them both it was full of beanbag rounds and unless they wanted a chestful they'd back off each other. Neither of them had weapons or gear really, the Joyce guy had a shotgun with no ammo. The other dude was in shorts and shirt with no visible weapon.

The Joyce dude backed off, the guy in shorts said something like "Yeah, I'm gonna go get my gear and Ill come back here and kill you". Something about getting a Praetorian to snipe him with? He then ran off. The Joyce guy asked to borrow Jaiden's gun to protect himself, I said whatever he does he better do it outside the Soup Kitchen as we dont want fighting inside the compound. They ran after the dude but he was long gone. The Joyce then wanted to change his clothes cause he was worried about the dude coming back and killing him. About 5-10 mins later, after @ItsChocolateMan got him some new clothes, the shorts guy re-appeared in all black, fully geared with two weapons, an M4 and a Praetorian. He had a black plate carrier, black backpack, black mask, helmet etc. I started asking him where his base was cause he changed his clothes real fast - and we started asking if maybe he was Corp since he looked like one now in his all black stuff. He started asking where the Joyce guy was, to which we said we didn't know (when really he was in camp just in different clothes). He said something like it being a shame he wasn't here anymore, we started talking about Corp a bit and how they stole my blood, then @Jackfish borrowed Jaiden's gun again and ran up and shot the dude.

He 100% absolutely left camp to go get his gear to come back and try kill @Jackfish, knowing that Jackfish only had a shotgun. I see NO other reason why he'd run off in his weird booty shorts after threatening to go get his stuff to kill him, then come back armed to the teeth asking where he was? 

I have no video evidence because my PC is a potato.

I was in the area and I'm the guy who was running into the large brown tent in @CameronJW's posted video just before @CameronJWwas killed. I don't know the context of what happened. I arrived to pick up a basic weapon from the charity tent and then all I heard was yelling follows by gunshots. I ran over to find him dead with several people crowded around, scavenging from the corpse. I let the people who were involved take the first pickings before I took what I (If I recall correctly) was a canteen and then left, not wanting to become involved in any further bloodshed. Unfortunately I can't say I know the events that led up to this as I arrived just before it happened and left quickly after.

After reviewing video evidence supplied to the GM team in advance of PoVs being posted, it is clear that here in this video that you do indeed threaten to kill Jackfish with a very specific threat; stating that you will leave the premises, go to your base, retrieve weapons and then kill him. From the video, it is also clear that you made good on the first three parts of your threat. Why did you return to the camp with more guns and in different clothes, if not to attack Jackfish?

James McCoy POV:

i was sitting in camp when suddenly one of the biys started boxing someone in shorts. A few of us went and broke it up. The man getting punched said something along the lines of “I’m going to go to my base and get gear and kill you” 

Anyway he left and he came back with some gear and was asking where the guy went that punched him, then @Jackfish ran up and did the deed.

Also @Voodoo I was the one who said “gear gear gear” trying to bring a bit of light to the unfortunate event. I said “you ruined his plate carrier” because I was surprised that he ruined it since he sprayed him in the head not the chest.

Jet Anderson POV:

Showed up to the Soup Kitchen to visit Lil @FaeRP. We went to her cabin and were organizing her stuff for a bit. After a bit, we walked out, locked the place up, and saw a fight between Cameron @CameronJW and John @Jackfish. We try to break it up. Cameron threatens John saying you keep doing that...I'll go to my base, get my weapons, come and kill you....I will end your life. Lil slings a big ol' beanbag round in the air and shuts everyone up. Cameron leaves. John asks someone for an M4, gets one, and goes to find Cameron. John can't find him so we all go back to the Soup Kitchen. John asks for some clothes so he can change how he looks. I "look through my bag" (spawn clothes in) and give him some clothes to change his look. Cameron shows back up looking for John. We talk to Cameron for a bit until John gets an M4 again and blasts John in the face, ending his life.

Updating POV

Jaiden Winters POV: I don't remember too many details but I will try my best to be as detailed as I can. I was chilling over at Soup Kitchen when I hear someone getting hit, I turn around and see a dude I do not know in short shorts and some other clothing and another dude who I recognise the outfit of but can't immediately remember the name of, me and Lilith walk over. I let Lilith do the talking and then the dude makes some kind of statement like, "he needs to learn respect." which annoys the Joyce even more. The dude then tells the Joyce to calm down, referring to him as his bud or something. He then makes a statement along these lines.
"I will go to my base, get my weapons and come and kill you." 
I believe he says something else as well but I don't remember what.

He walks off and the Joyce who has no ammo begins asking for shells for his shotgun for his gun. Eventually he comes over to me and I get confirmation he is a Joyce who is friends with the group that I am a part of the Wolf Pack. So I let him know I will help him if the dude tries anything. I then spot the dude sprint out of Soup Kitchen toward Sitnik in which I let everyone know of that. The Joyce then asks to use my M4 real quick. I agree and drop it in which the Joyce runs toward where the dude ran to try and find him to confront him about what he said. Me and James follow the Joyce to help him in case things don't go as planned and to make sure I can get my gun back. We can't find him, the Joyce gives me my gun back and opts to simply switch clothing as he's a little nervous due to the fact the dude threatened his life.

I begin to do what I usually do, stand around and talk when the same dude walks back in, now in full black military clothing with a black plate carrier, an M4 and a Cheytac sniper rifle. Saying something along the lines of:
"Alright i'm back, is the guy who was beating me up still here?"
Me and Lilith begin to talk to the dude, not revealing whether he is or isn't. Meanwhile the Joyce is busy switching his clothing inside of a tent. I ask this question to the dude:
"Hey dude are you Corp or something?You just ran in the direction of their base and came back in full black, fully fuckin' geared."
He tells me he isn't and tells me he is completely alone.

Lilith also asks something along the lines of:
"How'd you get all that stuff so fast..?"
He responds with, "I don't want to disclose that information." and Lilith continues talking. The Joyce walks up beside me and nods to me, I nod back and so does he. I understand this as this(without the words but, this is basically what I believe we communicated through the nods.)
"This the dude?"
"Yes."
"Can I have your gun?"
"Yes."
In which I drop my M4 again and step aside. The Joyce picks up my gun and walks up to the dude saying something roughly along the lines of:
"HEY LAD DO YOU WANT TO FUCKING KILL ME?" In which the Joyce aims the gun and shoots the dude killing him instantly. The rest of us loot him and we go back to everything as normal. I get my gun back and the Joyce takes the dude's guns.

Summary:
@Jackfish and @CameronJW get into a verbal and physical altercation in the Soup Kitchen, stemming from insults about Cameron's clothing choices.  The physical portion of the altercation is defused, but Cameron tells Jackfish he will, "go to [his] base, get [his] weapons, and come and kill him."  Cameron departs the camp, Jackfish changes clothes just in case Cameron comes back, which he does, donning combat gear and two military grade assault rifles.  Jackfish, noticing that Cameron has returned, fulfilling 3 parts of his 4 part promise, opts to borrow @ViperTCA's rifle and shoots Cameron before Cameron shoots him.  Shortly after, the crowd gathers around and @JamesRP runs up shouting, "gear gear gear!"

Explanation:
Because of the direct threat made against his life, @Jackfish was well within his rights to kill @CameronJW, who returned to the camp in what appeared to be an attempt to fulfill the threat offered to Jackfish.  Jackfish's character was in danger of losing his life, with only a cheap disguise of changed clothes standing in the way of him and a bullet, leading us to decide that Jackfish acted in accordance with both the rules and roleplay.  A discussion was raised internally about the application of kill rights in this regard, but the staff team has also decided that ruleplay would be an inappropriate punishment to issue in this case, for the same reasons previously described.

To briefly address @JamesRP's comments made after the death, we'd like to leave one sentiment behind; cut that shit out.  While the staff team does not warrant this egregious enough to be classified as BadRP, we'd like to say in no uncertain terms that you are walking the line of it and may end up falling over it should this continue.  When someone has just been shot, desensitization is understood, but joking celebration is rarely, if ever, appropriate.  We will not be issuing a punishment for BadRP in this case, but we will strongly advise against the continuation of behavior such as this, lest you eventually do something that actually warrants a BadRP ban.

Verdict:
@Jackfish | Invalid kill (on sight) & Ruleplay | NOT GUILTY.  No action taken.
@JamesRP | BadRP | NOT GUILTY.  No action taken.
