Titanium GG Boys Posted February 28, 2020 Titanium Share Posted February 28, 2020 (edited) Short and simple, As the server pop has been on the rise lately we now have the queue system back (Yay....) Now some of us are broke boys that cant even afford to rent Diamond for that nice priority queue. Basically, if you are registered as having been in game within say 2 minutes (Time could be adjusted) then you should receive a temporary Priority queue so that you can get back in quickly in case you were in the middle of a situation. On top of it, do you think that the priority queue should be above diamond. Meaning you would take priority over a diamond player sitting in queue. Time for how long you have could be changed but for this example specifically lets just say within the last 2 minutes of being on the server. (Yes this is inspired by me sitting through a 15 queue and getting in and crashing right away) Please leave your thoughts and opinions on this. Edit: New Idea aswell, maybe make this a feature for like emerald or sapphire if not for all ? Edited February 29, 2020 by Masonn 2 Link to comment
Sapphire Earl Posted February 28, 2020 Sapphire Share Posted February 28, 2020 (edited) This is something that would help. Just yesterday i couldnt do anything because of some stupid bug. We were out running so me logging of and they would had to wait, never. So they would keep going because i have to wait 15-30 mins in que. I log in we are far apart. The bug ruined my rp experience, my teammates needed to bandage me... If i could just relog and get back in and keep going from where we left. This same thing are on FiveM servers (Gta Rp). If you log out you can relog within the next minute without the que cause the server holds an empty slot for you. This has been a life saver for many scenarios. There is no downside for anyone if this comes. If you meet a bug, relog, keep going from were you left (or crashes). This is only a good thing. Edited February 28, 2020 by Earl 1 Link to comment
MVP Ducky Posted February 29, 2020 MVP Share Posted February 29, 2020 We cant mess with the priority queue, its simply a list of names in a file, it only updates on restart, it cannot be updated while the server runs. 5 Link to comment
Sapphire MrPlasse Posted February 29, 2020 Sapphire Share Posted February 29, 2020 (edited) This has been a problem for me and my groups that I have ran with. There we are, in a pvp situation or holding hostages, and we get screwed over because of the game (specifically the queue). We always get passed by diamond members, and position 2 turns into 15 very quickly (hypothetically speaking; yes, this has happened before). I don't think its fair for us who don't want to or cant buy expensive packages on this server and who just want to play it for free. We appreciate the community, but giving others a system that can skip others priority because they bought it kind of sucks at times (not all the time), mostly because it is a pay to win system. Granted, this will never go away, and I'm not saying that it should go away, there is a way however that you can make it more fair for people in actual high stress situations. Thus, is why I believe that people in pvp or hostage situations, should get this 2 minute priority queue. Edited February 29, 2020 by Nick Plasse Link to comment
El Presidente Roland Posted February 29, 2020 El Presidente Share Posted February 29, 2020 What Ducky said. Priority queue is handled by the server exe and cannot be modded or modified in any way. 2 Link to comment
