Graphics and guides on how to do them?

As the title says, Graphics and guides on how to do them if there are any out there, I would personally myself like to be able to create some graphics for my character pages so it sprouts a bit more life into them, but as it stands I am a fucking brainlet when it comes to actually doing them so any guides out there on how to make graphics?

As well as on the topic, what programs are used to make said graphics and such?

Trail and error mate, it’s how I do all my photoshop stuff. And when I get stuck or can’t figure something out. Then it’s off to YouTube. 
Best way to learn is to just play about yourself and figure it out on your own I belive

As neom is saying, trail and error. I've used Photoshop for a while and there's so much you can do so it's obviously going to take time.

Photoshop is the best program i've used so far. 10/10 would recommend. 
If not you can use Pixlor (Its a lowkey photoshop on google)which works fine aswell.

Photoshop is superior, but it's not always within peoples price range. Don't be a scumbag and pirate it, actually support the creators if you plan on getting it. No other software that can rival it, imo. It's what I used mostly for my own Desktop Backgrounds etc.

Couple of YT tutorials will get you set and ready to go but if you want to go the free route, Sumo Paint or GIMP.

yeah if you are going to use anything I would defo use photo shop, its alot more in depth and a lot more creative IMO. It may seem a bit overwhelming at first but after a while you will pick it up.

I've been using Paintshop Pro, which isn't too bad. I can't compare it since it's the first photo editing tool I have used, but I know that you can own it outright and not pay a subscription to keep using it like Photoshop.

I'll have to try Photoshop at some point to see if it's a cut and dry comparison on which one is superior.

I use Photoshop for all the profile pictures, profile GIFs, signature, group graphics and character-page graphics that I make.
