Livonia: Invalid Hostage Kill on outskirts of Sitnik 2/26/2020

Detailed description of the events: After some arguing in the soup kitchen, Kirby proceeded to chase me around trying to punch me. After he did so many times with very little reaction from the people around, I tried to create panic, claiming he touched me, (my character is only 15, so I was hoping this would cause a rise) Once they got him off me, I raised my gun at him and told him to stay away from me. Kirby then ran and hid, so that I assume only to wait for Lucas to get close enough, because they proceeded to hold me up when he arrived. They took me on a dirt path and asked me a few questions, and then we stopped. They told me to drop my gun on my back and to not look behind at them as they tied me up. As I was complying, I was randomly met with a bullet through the head.

Pov- I was hanging around Soup when i meet @gamingfeva7, after an argument he starts insulting me and egging me on to go and punch him and he says "catch me if you can". I end up chasing him around Soup until i'm pressured to stop by Larry and the soup kitchen. Once i stop he starts saying that i "touched him".. Clearly meant to provoke me more and stir more "Chaos" as he said in his own POV. After he announces that i "Touched him", i of course get upset. I run over and start punching him again and he then threatens me saying "If you touch me again i'll blow your brains out" Then shortly after larry  and others including myself initiate. We bring him over to a dirt road by sitnik, on the way there he constantly back talks and says "he has friends" I give him one last warning to stop back talking in his rude manner, once we arrive we go into the woods a bit by the road. I then start stripping him of his weapons, after a quick demand saying not to turn around or he'll be shot, as i'm restraining him, he turns and his arms moves towards the gun. According to @Lucas, he then proceeds to shoot him dead.

I would also like to point out he had a belt on with a pistol in its holster. And it has a quick draw animation and its kinda subtle when moving and such. That is why i gave him the command not to turn around.

Lucas POV: One of boys has just been told that they will be killed inside of Soup. So I head back there from sitnik. I head down and talk to Kirby who is already talking and holding him up. I reinitiate just incase and we proceed to take him off down a dirt path but the OP begins talking back to us and saying he has powerful friends and such. I keep reminding him not to shit talk us and all or I'll kill him but he carries on. We stop to tie the man up and as he's being tied up, kirby tells him not to turn around or he'll be shot aswell. He begins twisting and turning and his arms gesture for something (His pistol) so I shoot him dead. 

Thought I had video but ended up being corrupted.

@God When you stopped me, you specifically said, "Go ahead and drop that gun off your back." To which I complied. You said nothing about multiple weapons or my sidearm. As for @Lucas You told me and @Job in the discord vc that you were very sorry because you thought my characters cough "Looked like me reaching for my pistol". My question is, if you noticed the pistol and thought of it as a problem, why did you not ask for it to be removed? Also, why did you delay your shot at me to after the coughing animation was nearly finished, if you are saying it looked like I was reaching for my pistol?

The only reason we came to Helpdesk was because kirby wanted to come explain to you about how you died.

Don't know about that one. I remember you reaching for the belt twisting and turning around when told not to or you'd be shot. We also had rights to just straight up shoot you in the camp in the first place but we intended to extend the RP aswell... You threatened our lives, continued to shit talk us when told not to and was executed afterwards.

I argued until threatened, i complied when i had to, after you took me hostage. You can claim you had kills rights but if i am a complying hostage then what purpose was killing me? Why are you saying all this when you came into the discord vc calling it an accident? The whole situation overall was shitty roleplay by your guys part but i was willing to let it slide up until you randomly fed me a bullet for complying. It felt like ruleplay and that you just wanted my loot.

No, wish i were, but my recording software stopped hours before this happened without my knowledge. I understand that makes it difficult though. The only thing I have that I would call evidence is that @God and @Lucas came into the vc calling it an accident and that they were sorry, and now that I filed a report they've changed their story. This can be backed by @Job and I believe @Jade who were both in the vc for this part. But as for any other evidence, I have none.

You say we are changing our stories? When we all went into the help desk and went to talk about it we both said it looked like you tried to pull a gun. i then added, now it may have been you just turning(which i gave a demand not to) or sneezing during the time and that's what i was bringing up.

@God You swung on a kid over 4 tetracyline, you ruined your own rp. Wanna talk about rights but I had rights to kill you at first, not give you a warning to fuck off. It is shitty roleplay when you gang up on me using numbers for what? The roleplay was bland and pointless and my death could of been avoided, thats why I made the report. You claim you know the rules yet you are so close to being perma banned. I suggest it's in your best interest to be more careful about your actions and things like this can be avoided. And no, a sneeze or a cough looks nothing like pulling a gun, especially when there is a sound que for it. Trigger happy, pointless robbery and you just took advantage of the situation to get loot off of me, and found out I had nothing, But I still believe that was your main goal.

I'd like to shed some light on the situation regarding it as a whole. I was actively involved in the entire situation but was not called in.

Larry Thompson's POV

Waking up from sleeping I hear people outside my cabin fighting with each other, punching and hitting each other with shovels. I decieded that it was in my best interest to stop the situation as is could've very easily became a firefight. Both sides had rights on each other at this point. I move to intervene in the situation and tell both @God and @gamingfeva7that its gone on far enough and it was time to stop the fuckery and let it rest. @gamingfeva7 technically initiates on @God by saying "if you hit me again, im going to fucking kill you". This here would've been a great opportunity to roleplay, and kill @gamingfeva7 for his "GEAR". @Godwalk's away and I begin speaking 1v1 to @gamingfeva7 telling him he needs to relax, I understand the situation is complicated but the soup kitchen isn't the location to handle your quarrels. @gamingfeva7 then replies to me that I am okay with people that touch small children and he's going to tell everyone on his radio. @gamingfeva7then IC pulls his radio and begins jogging around the camp saying "LARRY AND HIS FRIENDS TOUCH LITTLE BOYS". I find this to be very unacceptable due to it being untrue and accusations like that could have some very real consequences for someone in my position. I tell him he needs to stop, its not true and not appreciated. He continued. At this point I notice @God pull his weapon behind @gamingfeva7, I do everyone a favor at this point and pull my weapon and begin the initiation before anyone has the opportunity to say a word. I tell @gamingfeva7he needs to put his hands up and follow me outside the soup kitchen. He takes a large amount of time to figure his shit out and start to follow me, entirely not valuing his life by continuing to argue and yell about how "Terrible" we are for initiating on him. I also state to him at this point that we ( @God, @Lucas, and myself) will kill him if he continues to speak back to us in a tone that follows suit. Moments after this my game crashes, I load back into the game as soon as the screen comes up. I then hop on the radio with @God and ask where we moved our hostage, he states that as he is tying him up to disarm the hostage he disobeyed the commands given to him and was executed accordingly. I then move over to where the body of out hostage is located and speak to @Lucas, he states exactly as his POV stated. With this said, I begin moving back towards the soup kitchen.

 

I'd like to mention a few things, Firstly @gamingfeva7 I understand your upset that you died and felt you were wronged, I promise you however MY intentions as the first initiating member of the group we're to remove you from the situation, talk to you about how your actions and words could have serious repercussions for yourself and others, and let you leave with a warning. As a member of the soup kitchen, I will remain neutral in 99 percent of the situations that arise, I've had many many many opportunities before you ever came around to "LOOT UP" or "GEAR RP". Secondly, @gamingfeva7 during the entire encounter you were very apprehensive to listen to any of the commands given to you by myself or the others, I had an opportunity on your life as soon as we were walking in the field when you continued to speak after I told you, you were not allowed to talk at this point. Given this record of apprehension I can see it very reasonable that you were infact pulling a weapon or moving/turning when you were explicitly told not too. Third, you flaming us and rating our ability to RP isn't relevant to this report and if you do find it relevant to this report to build a narrative you're interested in supporting then I'd find it equally acceptable for me to rate yours, However I'm not interested at this point. 

 

I do not have any video evidence to support the case, unfortunately I was satisfied with the manner in which he was dealt with and choose to not press save on shadowplay.

We also have a question for you, when you came into the helpdesk you were apologizing to the OP for mistaking his coughing for pulling his weapon. In your POV you have not said anything about this. Why are you leaving this out?

Unfortunately not, I had no idea it was possible that you could recover video files like that so I just end up deleting them to make storage as I’m close to filling up my hard drive.

honestly i didn't think it was a big deal to add it in since you and @Jade could back what we said up and vice versa regarding the situation. I didn't know it was a requirement to add a conversation in HD about it in my POV.

We have a statement from two staff members - @Job and @Jade who were in helpdesk during discussion after the incident. They both stated that God and Lucas kept apologizing and it was clear that they knew the kill was invalid and a mistake because of coughing animation. Now in the report the story changed and now you're claiming that it was not a mistake, but act of self defense. And your video got corrupt. Right.
