Why the verdict is not fair: Good afternoon dayzrp staff, I was issued with 5 warning points for flaming for calling voicing an opinion on Tomu's peoples skills.

I'm a bit baffled how this is flamming, yes one could of addressed this in staff feedback thread but that would of put a stain of the newly made mod tomu's profile and I thought it would be better to address on discord.

It is more of a criticism then flamming.

What would you like to achieve with this appeal: I would like my points removed or lowered

What could you have done better?: maybe dropped Tomu a DM

Hello @neom,

A team of staff has looked over your appeal and reached a conclusion. The post you made in the discord is hostile and insulting. It does nothing to actually try and build on a potential issue somebody may have. There are correct channels for feedback, like you acknowledged, but there are also correct methods of trying to help someone build. If you feel somebody has something to work on, just flat out telling them "your bad" is not constructive in the slightest and is an attack on them as a person. Your post quite clearly broke the rules in the spoiler below which, as shown in your warning, apply to both discord and the forums:

Spoiler

1.1 We demand all our members to be polite, behave maturely and with respect towards one another at all times. Do not insult, bully, harass, troll or provoke other DayZRP members.

1.2 Listen to what others have to say before expressing your opinion. Never put down people or their ideas, nit-pick, constantly criticize over little things, belittle, judge, demean or patronize. A series of seemingly trivial actions, added up over time, constitutes bullying. Treat people the same no matter their race, religion, gender, size, age, or country of origin.

With that said, we see no reason to overturn the warning given.

Outcome: Appeal denied - Warning points stay.

Signed: @Para, @Job & @Scarlett.
