Why the verdict is not fair: this situation was closed months ago the temp ban should be removed

Additional statements/comments explaining your point of view: So i was quite new, i was in Zelen, had a interaction with some guys (victims friends) i spoke to them they helped me out told me some stuff about the server, in charecter not OOC i then went on in my journey had a interaction with someone and he was being abit mouthy i asked for trade he said why would i want that, i tried to be peaceful with him i then told him hands up drop your stuff on the ground he drew for his gun i shot him multiple times with the makarov pistol

What would you like to achieve with this appeal: it was solved months back im confused to why i am still banned?

What could you have done better?:  I could of tried not to kill him and just go about my way or i could of been abit more active on the forums to know that i was being pulled into a situation about RandomDeathMatch(RDM) I completly appoligise and wish this doesn't effect my whitelist.

Why the verdict is not fair: because all i did was RP as a bandit and rob the person who looked to have something good in the backpack

Additional statements/comments explaining your point of view: just hopped on running towards the green mtn and i saw someone strolling along with a backpack i then came up creeping behind them and as soon as i could i made my move i wanted to see what was so important with what was in the backpack, i then robbed the goods and went about my day

What would you like to achieve with this appeal: i would like to sort the situation and hopefully get unbanned i don't see how it's a bannable offence

What could you have done better?: I could of tied her up tortured her, but i didn't need to she complied with my demands and i don't see whats wrong there tbh can someone explain?

i RP'ed a situaiton and  i did not break charecter, failRP i don't understand whats wrong with a quick robbery i took a backpack and left everything else.

i wanted to check what was in the big backpack but i could of done better if i was apart of a group by tying her up interrogating but i was solo player getting by i don't understand in the rules doesn't say you can't rob someone.

1: i wanted it to go nice & easy and have a peak and see if there was anything decent.
2: i left quick because she could of had friends in the area

Hello @Trev,

After reviewing the video in the report as well as looking at your POV in this appeal it seems to me that you don't understand what you did wrong. Your roleplay was boring, and all you cared for was looking at her gear quickly and to move on as fast as you could.

This is NOT what DayZRP is about. It isn't some public no KOS server where you do the bare minimum to get gear from other players. You actually have to roleplay and engage others into it, so that the experience is enjoyable for everyone. There were so many other things you could've done. You could've just talked more, or asked her questions. Focusing purely on getting the best gear before moving in is not acceptable.

Role play is assuming a role of a fictional character that you create for yourself and through that character collaboratively creating stories together with other players and their characters. We use terms "In Character (IC)" to describe content and information that is perceived from the characters point of view, while "Out Of Character (OOC)" is all real life information and content outside of the game.

Upholding good quality of role play and making sure that everyone enjoys it should always be a priority. The objective is for everyone to have fun, regardless of their preferred type of role play or nature of their character. Do not discriminate other players based on their preferred way to play, previous characters that they have played or their OOC reputation.

3.1 You are required to role play your character at all times while in game. No OOC events or communication may take priority over your role play. You are not allowed to ignore other players attempts to role play with you.

3.2 Your character must behave realistically and appropriately to the different situations you participate in, keeping the current world situation and context of post-apocalyptic world in mind. Do not act in a way that indicates no value for your characters life and survival. For example, attempting to kill people when heavily outnumbered, excessively talking back or insulting someone when taken hostage, or knowingly running into an area of active hostile engagement when not involved in the fight. Characters found guilty of breaking this rule will be permanently marked as dead.

In addition to this you disappear for a while, as you did last time too, and come back seemingly not understanding what this server is about or what got you banned in the first place. As you've only played 4 hours on our servers since you joined in September, and haven't played since early November we will in addition to handing you the normal punishment for BadRP revoke your whitelist.

You need to properly re-read the rules before ever deciding to get back into the game. I suggest you take this seriously the next time, and re-do the whitelist. While you wait for this you should spend some time watching some DayZRP streamers play, and/or watch some roleplaying videos on YouTube.
