Detailed description of the events: 

Hilde, Andy and George arrive in Cernaya Polana to meet with some friends they've got. George finds out that Amber Main is receiving medical RP inside of the base and he follows Chris inside to see what was happening. After peaking through a window, and seeing Amber appear unconscious, the two decided to return to the RP at the front of the camp.

Once the medical RP finishes, the Doctor comes outside and RPs with the group. Amber Main, who is supposed to be unconscious(?) is naked and following the doctor. She crouches over towards the truck, someone notices her and attempts RP to move her back inside. She types in game, "//I am OOC" so that we do not recognise her in an RP scenario. This makes no sense to me personally. 

She continues creeping around in a similar fashion to what the video shows and begins sneezing on people, making a majority of us sick. 

At this point, Amber sits behind someone, sneezes on them and proceeds to type, "//boo im a ghost". This interrupted my RP at this point and I then opened OBS to begin recording the rest of the scenario. I did so in attempt to get a glimpse at what else she might do, in a roleplay scenario, while acting OOC.

Once people began sneezing and getting sick from this behaviour, she then types in OOC, "//give me tetra pls". This drags her into a scenario once again where she shouldn't have been by making people IC acknowledge her by treating her sickness.

Overall, this is pretty clear cut in my opinion. She was actively moving around and interrupting an IC encounter while making it known that she was behaving OOC.

Not much else to add. Me, Aldemir and Puma took our chars up to the fire station to share some loot in a truck. We arrive, talk serious business and then Madeline's char runs off. One of the Chris' tried to rp with her and she explained she was ooc, in chat. She ducked around my truck, and I was just ignoring it. I don't agree with people observing ooc, but I didn't do anything against it and continued to rp. Her presence did get a bit distracting when she ran into the middle of the group of us, coughing and all that, and made us sick. IDK why she would do that. She could have just stayed away but honestly, why didn't she try to evasdrop icly? Thats all I want to know since its sorta metagame to insert yourself in a conversation your character is not involved in...while in game...while the conversation is about your char. Again, I just minded my own business.

Hello, 

I'd like to start by admitting that yeah I messed up there. It was pretty clearly a rule-break and I thought about it in the back of my head but still, I just wanted to listen to their conversation. But I need to start a bit before the video to explain better. 

So previously, I'm not sure if @Anipuma , @miss_natcula , or @Aldemir , were at the fire-station yet, but Amber was inside being operated on by a doctor named James Sepher (I dont know his forum tag). She's been heavily injured for some time, and actually almost died a few days back. The doctor gave her anesthetic to sedate her so IC I was knocked out. After the operation finished OP and I think Chris B. show up and peep in from the outside window. The doctor and them engage in some conversation and OP says something in voice along the lines of "I wonder if maybe they're removing the can opener." My OOC chat in all caps was because I found that quite funny. Op and Chris B. @Combi leave, and Amber is left for a little while. She's IC knocked out.

I figured that there were people visiting, as at the time I didn't recognize OP. This is where I make my first mistake. I get restless and jump up OOC when realistically Amber was still knocked out (if I even remember that scenario correctly). I initially was wandering around a little, hanging out in a discord chat, before I see a group of players outside the building all in a circle next to a flatbed, just like in OP's video. I walk up OOC, missing a jacket but still wearing most of my clothes.

I understand the frustration there. I fully admit that it was my mistake that I was out there in the first place. My reasoning for this is because I've not seen so many people gathered in one place and my curiosity took priority over obeying the rules.

All of us at the fire station have been dealing with the cold being spread around, I was not the only one sick, but yes I do apologize for that.  I don't know if Anipuma or Miss Natcula became sick as a result, but judging by your video at the end of it you still weren't sick. Most of the guys living here at the station have been sick for some time, and got me sick when I arrived too. While it could have came from me, it's just as likely that it could've came from them too. Of course, that doesn't absolve me of my mistakes.

I agree that this is bad from my end. The only reason I moved closer from behind the truck is because Chris K. (The guy wearing the black gas mask) @Havikar was either using whisper or being muffled by that mask. I was missing part of the conversation and wanted to hear better, and I was messing with him which I shouldn't have done which makes you completely correct in that it was disruptive. More on me wanting to hear the conversation in a second.

This is yet another mistake of mine, I wasn't doing it to purposely be disruptive. I just wasn't thinking about it like I should have been.

I didn't eavesdrop IC because Amber was still knocked out. I should've stayed away but like I mentioned above, I was far too curious. Especially when you guys started talking about Khaled, it peaked my interest. I don't think it's metagaming though because I'm not acting off of anything I heard. The conversation never once touched on Amber herself, from what I recall, and the video itself.  I realize now that it's a mistake for me to be there at all though. 

 

After the group left in the flatbed, I returned to the room that Amber actually was in ICly, and continued to RP as if I wasn't there for any of that.

 

Overall, I understand completely that I have broken a rule and I will admit that. I am sorry, because I hate to disrupt RP, disappoint anyone, and generally detract from the experience on DayZRP. Believe me when I say that no matter the punishment I receive, that I will never be doing this again. Thank you, and I can answer any questions anyone has to the best of my ability.

Christpher Brent's POV:

From the very start of the get together, Chris Kendell and I got word that Hilde, Andy, and George were coming with some house warming gifts. After they arrived, I looked through their gifts for a moment and soon after George and I broke off from the group to talk and provide a tour and the idea to spy on the medical procedure came up. This is where we saw Amber on the table being operated on from a window by the scaffolding. We eventually got caught by the doctor, James and assistant Ayden so we went back to the group to talk. Mostly small talk occurred before James, Ayden, and Amber came down to join all of us. Me being surprised wondered why Amber was outside and ordered her to go back where she informed us she was OOC observing. She ran around each of us throughout the rest of the conversation with OOC comments in between before Hilde's group asked us to come along to do a supply run while Andy slept.

As in the video, I was the one that fed her the tetracycline when she asked for it. I knew full well she claimed she was OOC. I thought if I fed her it, she would move away a little quicker. I shouldn't of encouraged it and for that I'd like to apologize even if it's a non-issue. I'm not sure why she didn't just spy on us IC like I thought she was when she first came down. She should've just stayed away instead of buzzing around the group.

Chris K's POV:

Not really much to add. Andy radioed us saying they were going to stop by with some gifts, We went outside to meet them. We talked shop for a while, Christopher B and George left to go spy on Amber's operation, While I continued rping with Andy and Hilde. A little bit later they both came back to the conversation. Then Amber showed up, Christoper B told Amber something along the lines of "What are you doing out, you shouldn't be out of bed don't make us use bean bag you again" , which she then said the  "// IM OOC". I am rather new to this and everyone seemed to just run with it, So i continued to RP like nothing was wrong because no one else seemed to react or object. She hide behind several players and continued to  make ooc comments and cough on all of us, getting us all sick. The Conversion wound down and we all split up to help Hilde, Andy said he was tired and went to bed and that was the end of the incident.

Andy's POV

Myself, @miss_natcula, @Aldemir went up to visit @Havikar  and @Combi.  We had some gifts to give them.  They met us outside and we started RPing.  George and another broke off for a few minutes to check things out with some surgery.  They came back and we were just chatting.  Andy reunited with @MrSpetzer character.  We were just RPing having a good time, that is why I heard Chris B say "What are you doing out, you shouldn't be out of bed." turned around to see Amber following.  She did do the // letting us know she was out of character.  We continued RP as she hide behind cars and people listening in OOC.  She did ask for meds OOCly I believe someone gave her meds to get her moving on so we can RP.  Andy got tired, he went to sleep and that is the end of my POV.  Thank you

Aydens Pov (am at work by the way when this all came up)

I heard that Andy and his friends were bringing gifts for us but I was called into the break room from the Doctor to preform surgery on amber but we were interrupted a little with Chris Brent and I think Andy I don't remember who it was but I spotted them and then the doctor came over, then they got scared and started to run back down the scaffolding back towards the truck but as we were done with amber and two go downstairs to see what's going on we begun to speak with Andy, Hilde and George shortly after I saw amber slowly walking towards us and quickly hiding behind the truck after Chris B And I told her to go back insife but she informed us that she was in OOC so we all went back to our conversation with her coughing and running behind each of us while still speaking in OOC which I wasn't even bothered by it I just rolled with it like everyone else was as I saw Chris B give her some medicine

I was on last night, just minding my own business, RPing and such. I did some medical RP on Amber and after she was put under the effects of anesthetic for a surgery. But while was asleep, she wanted to hear what everyone was talking about- So she went outside and claimed she was just OOC and to pay no attention to her, and then she started to mess around a lot with excessive OOC.

Summary:
 

The OP and his friends arrived in Cernaya Polana, to meet some more of his friends, wherein he finds out that @Sapphireis unconscious receiving medical roleplay. Once the doctor finished, he went outside to roleplay. @Sapphire followed him, using the // prefix to denote that she was still in her unconscious state in RP but wished to listen in on the roleplay occurring outside, effectively encouraging the roleplayers outside to ignore her player model. She then proceeded to disrupt the roleplay everyone was having, hiding behind people, sneezing on them and repeatedly going OOC to try and chip in during the RP.

 

Reasoning:
 

Trolling & BadRP – The behavior shown was extremely disruptive and highly awkward for everyone involved. @Sapphire, your defense for this behavior was that you wished to be part of the conversation but couldn’t due to you being unconscious; so you decided to hide behind someone and typed “I’m ooc” & “Look im just listening don’t mind me.” You broke your character because you wished to be involved in something in which you should not have been a participant. If your character is unconscious then she is unconscious, you should not be going out and going into conversations that do not concern you. You had absolutely no interest whatsoever in listening, instead you caused the most disruption as possible with the excessive use of the // prefix, sneezing, attempting to get everyone sick and then afterwards asking for medicine when you supposedly are not there. This is not acceptable and we don’t even know why you would think this would be allowed.

 

Suggestion:

 

In future, if you want to be involved in a conversation, then roleplay going into the conversation instead of as a ghost everyone can see. You could have brought your character back from unconsciousness, summoned people inside or found one of a hundred other ways to get involved without breaking the most important rule of RP: always stay in character.
